been chatting with a friend who's playing through PN2 again and i want it to be known i will not hear anyone say a WORD about Hollis giving Raz a hard time at the beginning of the game. if anything she is OUTSTANDINGLY accommodating to this random ten-year-old who wandered in unattended off the plane in the middle of an extremely tense situation
#psychonauts#psychonauts 2#like come on look at it from her perspective. she's stressed and overworked#her boss (who she's covering for) has just been brought in practically comatose#and she's just been informed there might be a mole in their spy organisation. which is kind of a big deal#and then this kid shows up out of nowhere like 'hi! i'm your new agent!! :D'#honestly she has every right to tell him to take a hike lol#but she doesn't! she sees his enthusiasm and commitment and decides to hear him out and get him a place in the intern program#even at her worst and most stressed she's someone who wants to /nurture/ that enthusiasm and that talent#and i think that's really important to understanding her character#she's great. she's a great person and a great teacher and everyone should appreciate her. the psychonauts don't deserve her

So.... At some point sooner or later Ingo and his adopted niece would actually stumble upon rails, right?
Because there are trains in Sinnoh. The non sub kind.
And where there are rails there are potentially trains.
How would that go? Honestly, just generally, them getting to witness that level of machinery.
(I think that they deserve to take over a train. Ingo hasn't had one in years. He belongs on a train)
TRAIN HIJACKING YES
Lol but for real though, enjoy this literal chapter of a post. Ingo’s first ride back on a train wouldn’t leave my brain:
It’s getting dark and hey’re hiking through the woods. Sneaseler’s leading the group, occasionally pausing to slash her claws against the bark of a tree, marking the path so they don’t get lost this deep in an unfamiliar forest. Ingo and Akari are counting out their winnings from those children the defeated earlier that day. They tried to refuse the offered money of course, but the kids insisted. They remembered shortly after that it was custom to tip the winner of a trainer battle, and they did need the money as it seems their Hisuian currency will be no good here.
Eventually the trees star to sparsen and they soon find themself stumbling into what locals know to be the Great Marsh lands between Pastoria Town and Solaceon City. A massive wild Pokemon conservation area and safari. Normally, folks are only permitted to wander in this area for a limited time but since Ingo & Akari unknowing snuck in through the back woods they have no idea they’re trespassing.
Akari mentions how it’s nice to see the swamp lands still largely unchanged from Hisui times, except for the odd concrete platform a ways ahead alit with street lamps. Ingo suddenly straights up when he notices it, his grey eyes widen before he’s running through the swamplands straight for it. Akari and Sneasler are confused but hurry after him, dodging the deeper mud pits and curious wild pokemon as they go.
By the time the catch up to him they’re all splattered in mud and Ingo has already climbed up the steps onto the platform is visibly excitement. He may still be frowning but the sparkle of his eye and his swift movements give away what he’s feeling as he walks up and down the structure, examining something on the ground on the other side. Akari joins him and finds what she recognizes to be tracks, train tracks.
The only other person in all of Hisui who had any knowledge on trains had been Professer Laventon, who spoke of great big steam powered machines that ran on rails back in Galar. Ingo had recognized the type of train he spoke of, and could even recall a faint wisp of a memory of when he had been small and playing with a toy in the shape of the steam engines he described. But still, it wasn’t quite right to what he was looking for. It didn’t fill the empty space in his memory. He could already tell that this train will be different from the one he was looking for too, but it was still a train, a real physical train and not some faded photograph in a book.
It’s then that they start to hear the rumble of heavy machinery in motion in the distance, and looking down the track they can even make out the bright orange engine car rounding the distant bend. Sneaseler has now joined them and watches curiously, not only at the new odd human contraption thundering this way, but at the absolute delight in her wardens every twitch and gesture.
Once the train is close enough to be more visible Ingo realized he recognizes the type and modle! And before he realizes it he’s already telling his companions all about this specific type of train and it’s history in an out pouring of information he hadn’t even realized he possessed.
Then he hears it, the sound of the train breaks kicking in, the screech and whine of metal as the hulking vehicle rolls to a steady stop. Akari and Sneaseler might wince at the sound but to him it’s a symphony.
The passenger car door slides open and a woman steps out, barely even glances at them before her eyes fixate onto Sneaseler. Her brows go up in surprise momentarily, she then shakes her head and clears her throat. She informs them that the Great Marsh is closing soon and this will be the final train out to Solaceon Town before returning to station in Pastoria City, she then steps aside and directs them onto the train.
Ingo is just about over flowing with energy, unable to contain it all as he lets out an near deafening ‘ALL ABOARD’ as he leads his party onto the train.
He is the first to get on, the excitement in his eyes almost childlike as he steps off the platform an into the metal car. He spends a moment taking the interior in, analyzing the style of seat arrangement and the locations of all the safety rails. He notices the car to also be entirely empty save for their small group, likely due to the late hour.
Akari has already taken a seat as sneaseler looked around curiously. The importance of the eggs safety sprang to the front of his mind and Ingo straightened up and requested lady sneasler remove her basket to take a seat so to lesses the risk of an accident. He points and instruct them both on proper fragile luggage handling when in a moving train and then continues to go on with other related facts.
He cuts himself off mid sentence as the train lurches back into motion once again. He wasn’t prepared for it and grabs a bar to steady himself. Akari scoots over a bit and offer the seat next to her for him and he finds himself accepting.
He sits, now quiet, feeling the soft rumble of the train around him, finding it so comforting and familiar. But yet, there’s still something missing… He looks up and finds that the windows had darken due to the night sky and leave him with only only his reflection looking back at him across the way…
Ah, but Akari is right beside him! And she’s looking so worried. He turns to her to ask what’s wrong and then feels a cool wetness dripping down is cheek. He realizes he must have zoned out again and apologizes for his behavior but Akari assures him it’s alright. She’s a deeply kind person and he’s greatful to have her with him.
It’s then that the speakers of the train crackle to life, the voice of the train driver informing them that they “Will be arriving at their next stop, Solaceon Town, very shortly. That is Solaceon Town, home of Solaceon Pokemon Daycare & Nursery. Solaceon Town, arriving!”
Ingo and Akari immediately look at each other, and then simultaneously turn to look at Sneaseler’s, who has the basket placed securely on the floor between her legs with the top open so she can look down in at her eggs. A Pokémon Nursery might have just what they need to help Lady Sneaseler!

genre: fluff and a lil bit of angst
word count: 6.7k
warnings: noneeee
author’s note: it took me whole damn minute to write this lol initially i wanted the story to go differently but i kinda forgot along the way lmaooo this was supposed to be a han jisung one shot at first but then renjun inspired me more 🤠 i hope you enjoy reading this! let me know what you think about it! 🥺💛
she still remembered the first day she saw him. the first day she knew what love at first sight was.
renjun had always been a very reserved person. he liked to keep to himself and only hangout with his few friends. that ofcourse didn't mean he had no popularity around campus because holy shit did everyone know the boy.
he was known for being donghyuk's bestfriend, for being a clever student, for being a witty genius, a straight A student, a bookworm. but most of all he was knows for being the handsome dude that like silence, and being by himself when he wasn't with his friend.
y/n, like everyone else, knew of a huang renjun, but she had never had the honour to see him. see, y/n too was always immersed in her studies, and when she wasn't she liked to chill with her friends or be home with her family. she was a simple girl.
so imagine her surprise when one day, as she waited for her friend, she saw the most beautiful, handsome boy walk by. she was surprised because how could she, in her last two years of being in the same campus, not have seen this beautiful man. he must have been new, he had to. spoiler alert: he wasn't, she just never paid attention to her surroundings.
it was a few days after that she had seen him again and thanks to her friend she got to know that he was the huang renjun.
so, being the smart person she was, she decided she would court him. yes, court. like they did centuries ago. she would court him. despite not knowing anything about him, other than what people told her, she wanted yo get to know him and hopefully date him. simple as that.
huang renjun on the other hand, couldn't careless when word got around that a certain y/n had a crush on him. it never bothered him when other people came up to him so he didn't see how she would be any different. he just wanted to be chill.
he already had a lot on his plate with trying to balance his studies, art assignments, work, social life and family back at home to care about some fleeting crush someone had on him.
with having to live alone for so long he had already too much stuff going on and really couldn't be bothered to add more to it.
-
with the start of the new semester came the news that it was recommended to take another course for some extra credits and as much as renjun didn't want to he resigned himself and took a photography course. now, don't get him wrong, he loved photography. but he had already so much on his plate he didn't know how he was going to balance it all. thankfully, his friend jaemin was taking the course with him. and jaemin, being the sweetest, most caring, friend he was agreed to renjun's request to always group together if there was need. payment fee: be his model for the fashion course he was taking. renjun begrudgingly agreed. it was only just trying on clothes after all.
so on the first day of the new photography lesson the two boys walked in and sat somewhere in the middle, waiting for their professor to arrive.
"don't go back on your words," jaemin sent renjun a pointed look, his hands working on taking out his stuff.
"yeah, yeah," renjun muttered not looking up from his bag.
the sound of laughter made him look up towards the door, his eyes shifting back down to his bag when he saw a few girls walk in.
"oh, that's y/n," he heard jaemin mutter. renjun only hummed while finally putting his bag down by his feet.
"what?" jaemin asked as he turned towards his friend, brows furrowed in confusion. renjun shared the same look.
"what what?" he asked, kinda lost.
"that," jaemin subtly nodded towards the group of girls that sat a few seats in the front, on the side, before continuing, "is y/n," renjun followed his gaze only to look back at his friend.
"so?" he asked, not knowing where this was going. jaemin scoffed rolling his eyes.
"just showing you who your admirer is," he explained, renjun smiled before shaking his eyes.
"thank you for you kind service, sir," sarcasm dropped from every word, jaemin turned to him with a smirk.
"hmm kinky. call me that more," he slightly nudged him with his shoulder, leaning his elbow on the desk and resting his head on his palm. renjun's smile disappeared and he faked a punch to him, jaemin flinching away.
"get lost."
-
it took her a few more days for y/n to build up the courage to approach the boy.
she was nervous but she also told herself that if she got rejected then, well, it was a new experience. i mean, she had a 90% chance he would reject her. how she knew? well for starters, he was known for rejecting people, he made it very clear he wasn't interested in a relationship at all. people also said he was basically unapproachable, intimidating and cold.
she had mixed feelings about the last few; she had seen him multiple times with his friends, and he always seemed to have a soft smile on his lips and a glowing aura. so how could he be cold and intimidating?
but. now that she was standing a few feet away from him she could totally understand why they said he was unapproachable.
the boy wasn't with any of his friends. his expression was set to stone, to say the least.
y/n gave herself a little cheer before she started walking towards where he was going.
it's alright, just be yourself. people like bright people, right? it's gonna be okay. she told herself.
renjun's head snapped to the side when someone fell in step with him. he turned his gaze forward again thinking they might be walking by.
"hi!" y/n smiled brightly at the boy. renjun turned towards her again, his eyes looking around him in case she was talking to someone else but they were the only two walking. he slowly came to a stop.
"are you talking to me?" he asked, finger pointing at his chest. y/n giggled before nodding. she raise a hand, waving.
"hi, I'm y/n," she introduced herself. renjun sent her a skeptical look before nodding.
"renjun," he spoke uncertainly wondering why she was approaching him.
y/n felt at a loss of words after that. honestly speaking, she had never flirted with anyone or even tried to win anyone over really.
now, it's not like she had never dated, that she has, but she never made the first more.
her exes had told her that she tended to be a bit oblivious when people flirted with her, what with her being always friendly.
so being on the other end felt a bit nerve wrecking. she had a lot of respect for people that made the first move all of a sudden.
"i don't know if you heard about it, people really seem to like gossiping around here but i kinda like you," she said with a smile on her face.
renjun blinked. once. twice. a third time, before coughing awkwardly.
"what?" he spluttered caught off guard. y/n snorted.
"i like you," she repeated, the smile never wavering. she hiked up the strap of her bag on her shoulder.
suddenly her name clicked in renjun's head and he remembered seeing her in his photography class. he cursed under his breath before turning forward again.
"not interested," he muttered under his breath before stepping around her and walking towards where he was going before. y/n cursed under her breath before stumbling after him. the both unaware of the stealing glances people were giving them.
"i know you aren't," she fell into step beside him again. renjun took a deep breath before speeding up. y/n watched him before clumsily shuffling and taking two steps every one stride he took. renjun noticed and a smirk pulled up the corner of his mouth, before falling just as quickly.
"i will court you, if that's okay with you," she started again, "i know you're not interested in me. i will put in the effort to get you to like me," she giggled facing him as she followed.
renjun threw her a confused look before shaking his head. y/n checked the time on her phone before her eyes widened.
"shoot! my class starts in a bit, i gotta run! i'll hear from you again, bye renjun!" she waved before turning and running away, without waiting for the boy to say bye back. renjun scoffed at her childishness before getting in the hall where his class was going to be.
-
so that's how occasionally renjun would find chocolates or flowers on his desk in photography. jaemin had made it his job to tease him every time the two came into the class to find the little gifts. the blue haired guy even telling their other friends about it.
renjun had made it a routine to hand over all the chocolates he got to jaemin everytime, even though his favourite was among the little bunch. upon jaemin's question as to why he wouldn't eat at least the ones he liked, renjun's answer was, "i don't want to give her false hope and think i appreciate it."
and as much as he liked the flowers he gave those to jaemin as well, only to take them back saying they would be nice as props for art inspiration.
just like every other photography class, y/n had walked into the class with a few girls before they all walked to their spot. she looked over where renjun and jaemin usually sat, smiling when she saw the both sitting there. she fished out the little sketchbook and small flower ensemble from her bag before putting the latter on the desk and getting up.
"why do you do this all the time? it's clear he doesn't like you," one of the girls inquired, a smile on her lips. y/n shrugged, her eyes trained on one person only.
"i know he doesn't, but he also doesn't like anyone else," she winked down at the girl before stepping out of the desk, "which means, i still have a chance," she giggled as she turned around before walking towards the two boys.
"hi!"
the two bickering boys looked up at the sound of the chirpy voice before renjun rolled his eyes and jaemin smiled big at the girl.
"hi, y/n, what a surprise," jaemin teased as he winked at the girl. y/n giggled, a slow blush creeping up her neck.
"hello, jaemin," she politely waved before turning her eyes towards renjun, "hi, renjun."
renjun looked up towards her before averting his eyes again, "hi," he politely said.
his eyes shifted to his desk when y/n put down her small gift on his desk, his brows furrowing.
"why are you giving me this?" he asked, a slight tone in his voice. jaemin nudged him with his knee.
"thought you'd like a small sketchpad to have on you wherever you went. just in case you got a sudden burst of inspiration," she explained, the smile never leaving her lips. renjun looked up at her, a stoic expression on his face. y/n's smile faltered a small fraction but she hoped she masked it before her could notice.
renjun's eyes remained on the girl as he picked up the sketchpad and slowly pushed it aside on the desk, on jaemin's side.
"i don't need it," he deadpanned. y/n cleared her throat before brining up her smile again.
"then throw it away," she shrugged her shoulders before turning away and going back to her seat as renjun started after her, jaemin snickering beside him.
"well," he chuckled, "didn't see that coming."
-
it was at the end of the day, when renjun was walking around campus on his way to the library, that someone fell into step with him. he already knew who it was as a slow breeze wafted a floral scent his way.
he threw her a fleeting glance before making a double take. he felt his breath hitch in his throat before he masked it away.
the girl beside him looked ethereal in her baby blue shirt and high waisted loose fitting gray pants. her hair flew softly around her shoulders and face as the wind blew. the golden hue the sunset casted on her making her skin glow in contrast to her top. the cherry lip stain she had on brought accent to her lips in the most beautiful ways. renjun looked away as her eyes met his. she giggled. and renjun would never admit that to jaemin or his other friends but the sound was slowly growing on him.
"the weather is very nice today," she spoke taking a big breath, "want to get some ice cream?" she asked hopefully. renjun turned towards her only to be faced with big, bright eyes, shining in a way he could not put into words.
clearing his throat he turned away again as they made their way down the sidewalk.
"what are you doing?" he asked, his voice low and calculated, genuinely curious. y/n threw him a look before stepping behind him as a woman with a stroller passed by them. she peeked from behind him as she stepped beside him again.
"courting," she spoke with an obvious tone as they stopped in front of a streetlight.
"why?" he asked as they crossed the road. he came to a stop on the side of the street when he realized she had been following him.
"well," she started, "of course because i like you," she nodded, adjusting her bag strap.
"you don't even know me," he deadpanned. y/n rolled her eyes, an exasperated sigh leaving her lips and renjun's brows furrowed.
"well, of course not, that's the whole point of me courting you, dummy," her voice dripped incredulity as if he had asked the most obvious question.
he rolled his eyes as he started walking again, ignoring her words. she scurried after him as she tried keeping up with his steps. five seconds passed before she nudged him with her shoulder, grinning. a groan left his lips in response.
"so," she stretched out the word, "can i? court you i mean," her eyes went big as she waited for his answer. he let out a big sigh.
"it's not like you haven't been already doing it," he murmured. y/n's brows furrowed.
"you're right, i'm sorry about that," she apologized, and renjun could hear the pout before he even turned to look at her, "i'll stop if you want to. i really want your permission though. i wouldn't want to do anything you wouldn't like," she grumbled, upset she had unintentionally invaded his space.
renjun stared at her clear upset pout before he sighed again. he had been doing that a lot lately.
why am i agreeing to this, he thought as he closed his eyes for a second before he opened them again and turned a corner, y/n turning a second late.
"you can," he muttered as he stopped walking. y/n's eyes grew big as she gasped. her eyes lit up and a smile stretched over her lips as she looked up at him with big eyes.
"i can?" she asked in wonder.
"sure, be my guest," he shrugged his shoulders.
"really?" she asked again and renjun only nodded, his expression blank.
"but," he brought his index finger up and she looked at it before nodding, "i won't put aside my studies, job or anything just for your delusional attempt at flirting."
"courting! COURTING!" she corrected him after a loud groan and an eye roll. renjun doing the latter as well.
"yeah yeah whatever, that," he waved at her dismissively. she smiled at him.
"that's okay, but don't shut me out. you have to give me opportunities to court you, you have to be fair," she pointed at him as she pouted. renjun looked from her face to her pointed finger before he pushed it down. y/n's eyes shifting to the finger before muttering a sorry.
he glanced at her sideways a snort leaving him, "yeah, okay."
she smiled before a confused look took over as she looked at their surroundings.
"uhh, where are we?" she asked unsure, renjun looked back at the store they stopped in front.
"didn't you want to get ice cream?" he asked and y/n's eyes lit up a cheer leaving lips as she bounced on her heels.
"yes yes! let's go! it's my treat," she laughed as she pushed him aside and walked inside.
"sure," renjun muttered following her inside.
and that's how her courting began. sometimes it was ice creams, other times it was afternoons at the library, evenings in the art lab. and it went on for a few months. renjun's friends would sometimes tease him about y/n and he would begrudgingly tell them he wasn't dating her. he had explained times and times again what y/n said she were doing and they had told him the same thing every time.
yeah yeah dating, we get it.
word was getting around campus that the renjun was dating y/n and it was safe to say it was the hottest news. renjun, who had never cared about what they ever said about him, this time too, didn't bother to correct anyone.
-
y/n checked her phone as she speed walked. she was late to meet renjun and she knew how much he hated tardiness. she cursed under her breath as she skipped around the corner. her eyes searched around in hopes to catch a glimpse of the ash brown color haired guy. a smiled adorned her lips as she saw him. she was about to call out his name when she noticed him talking to someone. she jogged up to him and smiled as his eyes shifted to her.
"you're-," he started before she interrupted him.
"late. i know, i know. i'm sorry, i had to talk a bit to the TA," she giggled in apology and he rolled his eyes as he bid goodbye to the girl he was talking to.
"i'll get back at you about it. try to find as much as you can about the topic," he stretched his lips in a make shift smile for a second in greeting and the girl nodded, a teasing smile on her lips.
"don't get too lost in your date. i won't do the whole project on my own because you're out dating," she smiled jokingly. y/n pressed her lips together as her big eyes watched between the two.
the stranger's smile slowly fell as she noticed renjun wasn't smiling in the least, his face stone serious.
"don't worry about my date, worry about doing your part, bye."
and he turned and started walking away. y/n watched between his retreating back and her baffled face, an embarrassed blush adorning her cheeks.
"he's like that with everyone, don't take it too at heart," y/n sent an encouraging smile.
"y/n!" her head whipped to see renjun waving at her to be quick. she smiled for a last time to the girl before she ran up to him.
they walked in silence for a few minutes as she pouted. renjun took a deep breath before he looked at her out of the corner of his eyes.
"what?" he asked already knowing why she was pouting. she sent him a narrowed stare.
"you didn't have to be that rude," she sighed as she grasped the bag strap across her chest.
"yeah, well she was being nosy," he shrugged his shoulders.
"she was trying to be friendly."
"yeah, well she was trying to be friendly by being nosy and i don't like it."
y/n snorted at his pouted reply.
"ah!" y/n suddenly remembered as she rummaged into her bag, renjun watched her with curious eyes.
"here, this is for you," a small bag was pushed towards her and renjun carefully took it before opening it.
"what is this?" he asked, his brows furrowed in confusion.
"what do you mean? it's food, silly!" y/n giggled.
"yeah, why?" he asked, slowly fishing out one of the corndogs in the bag. y/n rolled her eyes jokingly.
"because you like them," she said after a sigh left her lips, wondering how he could be so oblivious. he nodded not feeling like arguing with her. no matter how many times he had told her not to spend money on his she never listened.
when he realized she just was a giving person he figured he would just buy her ice creams on the times they would go together.
"this is my stop, i'll see you around," renjun nodded at y/n as they stopped in front of the bus stop. y/n smiled as she nodded and waved. the bus stopped in front of the two and y/n watched as he walked up to the doors and into the bus, not once looking back.
as the doors closed and went away, so did her smile. she took a deep breath wondering if she had been too forceful on renjun.
was I too pushy? should I have backed away when he said he didn't like me?
and somehow she figured that really, renjun didn't need to like her. he had never said he liked her. it was all her.
she had been the one to push herself into his life, she had been the one wanting to court him, she had been the one to always wait for him after his classes, she had been the one dragging him to the ice cream parlor every other day.
renjun had always been clear on his feelings. he had said it in the beginning he didn't like her. he had only agreed to it all because he was nice, only going to get ice cream because she dragged him.
"hey! why the long face?"
y/n turned towards the sudden voice, her smile back on her lips as she crossed eyes with jaemin. she shook her head.
"got lost in my thoughts," she smiled, "it's getting late, i'll see you tomorrow!" and she was gone jogging to her bus stop.
jaemin let out a deep breath, wondering if she knew she was very bad at concealing her feelings from showing on her face.
-
golden rays seeped through the curtains in the silent home. a sweet melancholy atmosphere buzzed in the atmosphere. the silence creeped up the walls and enveloped the whole apartment.
the beeping of the main door unlocking sounded like a shrill sound in the otherwise mute surrounding. feet shuffled in before closing the door. soft steps sounded loud, the switch being turned on illuminated the whole flat in a bright light.
a sigh left her lips as she let her bag fall on the couch, walking to the bathroom.
twenty minutes later she was sat on the couch, a towel in her hand as she dried her hair. the silence made her ears ring, she hated it. hated this feeling.
she hated not being able to trust anyone, hated that she had nobody she could call friend at college, hated how she knew the people she hung out with during those few hours talked behind her back, called her naive, stupid, loser. she knew it all but she hung out with them either way.
y/n thought about calling her boss and going to work, being busy sounded like a thrilling idea instead of sitting in this silence, but she knew they were full.
she took a deep breath willing her mind not to fall in the deep hole she knew it was going to if she didn't busy herself fast.
so she got up and discarded her damp towel on the rack in the balcony before walking to the kitchen, wondering if cooking something would take her mind away from memories she wanted to keep locked away.
-
"renjun ah!"
jaemin walked into the room in search of his friend, his mind set on getting his words across the thick headed idiot.
he closed the door behind himself, his narrowed eyes set on the boy playing a game on his couch. renjun's eyes fled to jaemin before focusing back on the game.
"jeno and haechan said it will take half an hour and then they'll be here," he informed the blue haired male as he angrily pressed the buttons on his controller. jaemin nodded before taking four strides in front of the tv and turning it off.
"bro! what the fuck!" renjun shrilled, mouth hanging open in surprise.
"you're losing anyway," jaemin deadpanned before looking him straight in the eyes, "we need to talk."
"about?" renjun threw the controller aside, wondering what was this serious.
"y/n."
"what about her?" renjun sighed as he leaned back against the couch, curious where this conversation was going.
"don't you think you're being a bit unfair to her?" jaemin asked, his tone calm.
"how? i didn't do anything," his brows furrowed as he stared at his friend. a slight sliver of irritation hit him as he wondered if she had gone to whine to his friend about him.
"exactly, you don't do anything while she does everything!" jaemin exclaimed, his arms spreading before falling by his sides again.
"i don't know what you're reaching at, jaem," renjun sighed as his fingers pinched the bridge of his nose.
"what i'm trying to say, jun, is that the poor girl has been trying to woo your ass so hard for so long and you won't do anything about it!"
"what do you want me to do!" renjun exclaimed, suddenly feeling attacked, "she was the one that wanted to do all this courting bullshit! i never asked to do it! i told her i didn't like her!" he defended himself and jaemin rolled his eyes at his friend's stupidity. and he was supposed to be the top student huh?
"at least tell her again before she falls more for you while you don't care then! the poor girl has tried everything to make you like her! she knows your habits, your order at the café, pays attention to what you say, what you do. hell! she even knows when you crave your stupid milkshake because you had a bad day at college!" jaemin tried to reason with him.
"did she complain at you about all this? i swear!" renjun groaned as he stood on his feet, beyond angry that she had the audacity to complain when she was the one to start all this. jaemin looked at renjun as if he grew a second head.
"what? no! why would she say anything to me? it doesn't take a genius to figure all this out when the moment she's not with you she has sadness written all over her face."
"oh so now i'm the bad guy, great!" renjun laughed mockingly.
"nobody said you're the bad guy, jun," jaemin's voice softened up as he stared at his friend, clear anger on his features, "all i'm saying is to take into consideration her feelings too, and if your feelings still haven't changed for her then to tell her so she can move on."
renjun snatched his jacked from the armrest of the couch before storming towards the door.
"where are you going?" jaemin asked, his tone alarmed at the anger renjun was displaying.
"tell her to fuck off and not complain to my friends," hw muttered as he pulled away the door.
"oh! hey guys," jeno's eyes widened as renjun pushed away from him and haechan on his way out of the door. the two standing on the door stared as he walked away before turning towards jaemin.
"what's going on?" haechan asked as they stepped inside their den. jaemin waved his fingers in his hair as he let out a frustrated sigh.
"i think talking to him was a bad idea."
-
it was almost 11pm when y/n's phone rang. she was almost falling asleep on her couch when it started ringing, waking her up right away. she smiled softly as she read the name of the caller, clearing her voice as she picked up the call.
"hello? renjun?" she softly asked, wondering why he called her at this hour.
"send me your address, we need to talk," his cold tone made a shiver run down her spine as she muttered an okay before he hung up.
thirty minutes later he texted her to come out front. in the chilly breeze he stood in front of her apartment complex. she was wearing a hoodie and sweats as she walked out. she smiled at him as she stopped to stand in front of him.
"hey, it's cold, you can come inside-,"
"what do you want from me?" he interrupted her. a look of confusion fleeting across her face as she stared up at him.
"what?" her voice was small as she spoke. renjun rolled his eyes.
"why would you go and rant to my friends about shit that you could've told me?" he accused, and her confused expression just angered him more as he scoffed.
"ah yes! now comes the 'i don't know what you're talking about'. you wanted to do this courting crap, i told you before that i didn't like you! i don't understand why you would antagonize me to my own friends when i never even wanted this in the first place!"
"what? renjun that's not-"
"i don't care! just stay out of my life, will you? stop whatever you're doing, i don't care about any of it. this was stupid anyway," he mutter the last few words before turning away.
he had taken just a step before y/n grasped his arm.
"renjun," she called him, "i don't know what happened but this is not what-"
"are you saying my friends lied to me?" his head whipped back and y/n let go of his arm right away at the nasty look he threw at her. she softly shook her head.
"that's not what i said," she muttered adn renjun scoffed before turning away again.
"then stay the fuck away," he spat as he walked away and y/n stared after him as she felt a sharp pain on her chest, the familiar pain of heart break happening all over again.
-
she had stayed away from his as he asked. she didn't reach out anymore and she didn't approach him either. figured out if she was forcing herself on him, the least she could've done is listen to him and stay away.
jaemin regretted talking to his stubborn friend when he had pushed his shoulder against the girl's and greeted her just to receive a tight lipped smile and a soft hi before she had speed walked away. seconds later renjun had stood by his side, his eyes on the girl as he scoffed.
"what did she want?" he sneered and jaemin's furrowed his brows as he turned to face his friend.
"renjun," he called his attention and the latter turned around to face him.
"she never said anything to me," jaemin went straight to the point and when renjun made to say anything he held up his hand.
"i'm not covering for her. she never said anything to me or anyone. hell, she never even talked about you to me. all i know about what you teo had going on was from what you told me," jaemin took a deep breath at renjun's furrowed brows.
"that day you wouldn't listen to me. I don't know why you were that angry but she really didn't ever say anything. whatever i talked to you about was all because i wanted to say it. so if you have feelings for her tell her and if you don't then at least apologize to her," jaemin tried to reason with him
"we're best friends, i'm gonna tell you when you're wrong and being an idiot. and now, you're both," jaemin smiled at renjun before clapping his arm and walking to their photography class. renjun didn't say anything, too immersed in his thoughts.
they walked into the room and renjun's eyes were right away on y/n. she sat in her usual seat, surrounded by her friends as they laughed about something. y'n smiled but it didn't reach her eyes, she laughed but it didn't sound genuine and renjun wondered how he was able to tell. he shook his head and walked behind jaemin to their seat.
"hey, aren't you going to say hi to renjun?" one of y/n's friends. y/n's smile dimmed a little before she masked again and shook her head.
"i'm not doing that anymore," she shrugged her shoulders as to not seem too sad. the girls around her snickered and y/n felt a chill run down her spine.
"why? did he reject you?" one asked and y/n sent a tight lipped smile as she hummed.
"y/n! come here for a moment, please!" the professor called her and she thanked the heavens she got saved like that.
she got off her seat and walked down the steps carefully. what she didn't miss is the girls next words. they intended for her to hear it and they also wanted renjun to hear.
"of course he would reject her, she was so pushy with it."
renjun's brows furrowed as he heard those words, wondering how did friends talk about their friend like that, but what angered him more was that it was obvious y/n had heard them but she had just kept walking to the professor.
renjun shook his head telling himself he shouldn't care. he knew he had to apologize at some point but he also knew he didn't care for her, he had no feelings for her... right?
but as he watched the girl talk to the professor with her smile painted on, his heart tightened.
-
it was late at night when renjun lied in his bed, facing the ceiling, his body aching from slaving away at work, his shoulders in pain from the hunched evenings he spent in the library and the heavy feeling in his chest from having to balance so many things at once, that he longed for someone to rely on. finally he was coming to terms with the truth.
the truth was that y/n had been that one person that made it all go away; the aching, the pain, the heaviness and the emptiness. she had taken all of it away without even trying to. renjun thought back at that evening when he had went to a shop with his friends and as his eyes caught sight of the little fluffy keyring he had grasped it and with a small smile he had thought 'y/n will like this' only to remember y/n wasn't there anymore. he had pushed her away.
renjun's brows furrowed as he suddenly sat up, a determined look on his face. he had to make it right. he had to apologize.
so with a new found adrenaline pumping through his veins he got up from his bed and quickly threw on a hoodie and his shoes before running out of his home.
-
y/n secured the lock on the convenience store she worked at, shaking the door to check if she had locked it correctly, before taking the short walk to her building.
the chilly breeze felt refreshing against her cheeks as she walked the uphill street.
she stepped under the streetlight in front of her building when she noticed a crouched figure in front of her main door. she slowed down as she got creeped out, wondering where the security guard was.
the sound of footsteps made renjun snap his head up only for his eyes to cross y/n carefully stepping up to him, her eyes unsure before realization dawned on her.
"renjun?" she asked confused and surprised. renjun stood up before dusting off his jeans.
"hey," he whispered before realizing y/n was probably waiting for an explanation, "uhh, i rang up but nobody answered s-so i just thought about waiting here for you," he stuttered before clearing his throat and looking away, his eyes shifting to look around himself in emberassment. y/n smiled comfortingly and nodded.
"did you need anything?" she asked softly, and renjun stared at her for a moment before his brows furrowed.
"don't smile," he murmured and y/n's eyes widened before she blinked away.
"uhh sorry?" her tone unsure before renjun shook his head at the misunderstanding and waved his hand in front of him.
"no no, that's not what i meant. i meant like- if you don't mean it then don't. you don't have to fake it," he explained and y/n nodded her smile returning.
"i'm not faking it, i couldn't with you," she giggled before nodding with big eyes, encouraging renjun to continue.
"i- uhh, i wanted to apologize," he took a big breath, "for the way i snapped at you that day, without knowing anything. i shouldn't have been so rash on you. jaemin cleared things with me and i have to say, it was a total dick move of me to just assume you did something," he rambled on and y/n nodded.
"it was," she interrupted him and he nodded, looking down.
"but you don't have to worry about anything, i won't bother you anymore. i'm sorry too for pushing myself on you like that."
renjun's head snapped up at her words, his brows furrowed as she shifted on her feet, her fingers tight around her bag strap.
"no," he muttered and y/n's brows raised in question, "let's- let's try again, this time i'll meet you in the middle," he nodded and y/n stared at him, her lips parted so renjun took it upon himself to elabprate.
"i realized," he licked his lips as his eyes looked around before settling on her, his eyes screaming determination, "that i didn't realize how much you helped me until i pushed you away. i didn't realize how much i relied on you for comfort. until you were gone. you were there for me in so many ways, a-and i realized how much i liked having you around, how much i thought about you, until you weren't there anymore. i realized how much just the thought of you brought me calmness until i couldn't turn to you anymore. and calmness is what i needed, is all i needed to balance my crazy everyday life, and i want you in it again, but this time for good, and the right away," renjun took a deep breath after being done, feeling like if he didn't say all that at once he wouldn't be able to make her realize how much he needed her.
y/n's eyes shone as she looked at him.
"jun," she whispered and her tone panicked renjun. it was so quiet, so frail and it sounded like she had just given up, "you don't have to force yourself to make me feel better, i can handle rejection. it will hurt for a bit but i'll be okay," she reassured him and renjun shook his head.
"no, no, i'm not doing this because i feel bad for you," his brows furrowed and his tone laced with offence. he took a step towards her and wrapped his arms around her all of a sudden. y/n's eyes widened as her hands rested on his sides, taken by surprise at his sudden hug. renjun wasn't really known to be affectionate, "i really wanna give this a try. this time the right away, please, let's try," he murmured against the side of her face.
y/n slowly pulled away and looked at his eyes, shining like the stars above, he was absolutely breath taking. and she smiled, her usual soft smile as she reached up a hand to shift away a loose hair strand falling in front of his eyes.
"okay," she nodded and renjun smiled as he nodded. his cheeks suddenly went up in flames when he noticed his arms still around her frame and she giggled, slowly pulling away.
"have you eaten?" she asked as she turned away to put in the password to the building doors, and renjun smiled as the heaviness that once settled on his shoulders felt lighter and his chest hurt less.
"are you inviting me up?" he asked hopeful and she turned her head around to throw a funny look his way, "i'm telling you, i'm so exhausted i will eat everything in your fridge, sure you wanna risk that?" he teased as she opened the door and stepped aside to let him in.
"i'll take my chances," she smiled as he took a hold of her hand and pulled her towards the elevator, a smile adorning both of their faces.

SJM ACOSF Live Event Notes: Canada
I’m not Canadian but this is the stream that worked in my schedule lol. Also sorry if any of this is redundant, I didn’t want to leave anything out in case this is the first you’re reading about any of these lives.
NOTE: she specifically didn’t give confirmation about who the next book will follow, she knows, but she said her publishing team will probably want to find the right time to announce it! Thus, we can only guess for now what the NEXT book will be about.
SJM Live - 7PM EST. Wed. 2/24/21
Indigo — CA Live
— Sarah began writing this while writing the third book in the ACOTAR series. She wanted to look at what happens after, Cassian and Nesta’s chemistry made her want to write them first. “It was almost like writing fanfiction of my own stuff…”
— Accidentally pitched the sequels — wanted to tell the stories of all these other characters, wanted to explore the world, and what happens when the big battle is over, who makes a play for power. How will the Night Court involve or not involve themselves?
— World-building meets steamy romance - her two favorite things
— She knew from the start that Nesta was a lot more than you were seeing, she’s actually the one person who saw through Tamlin’s glamour. Someone who is closed off and appears as if she doesn’t care - but she does, and deeply, she just doesn’t know how to express it.
— Her own mental health journey informed her work on Nesta’s - things got worse for her and this was around when she started Nesta’s story over. She finally decided to go to therapy and started meds and coping skills and went on this journey that happened to be similar to what Nesta was going through. None of it is autobiographical though!
— Honestly going to cry about how she’s talking about Nesta, she didn’t need to be redeemed, she just needed to be able to understand what she had done and experienced and move forward.
— How do you face the things you’ve done that you’re not proud of and how do you face the people you’ve harmed?
— She’s come to realize that she has a giant soft spot for the tall goofy guys that seem tough but are big softies. She has a big crush on Gronk, which is hilarious. She described her husband as tall and goofy. She immediately loved Cassian and understood him more-so than some other characters.
— OMG this interviewer. “Tell me a little bit about their sex…”
— Her father is currently reading the book, Sarah begged her mother to take the book away from her father. There’s a big difference between her mother and her FATHER reading the sex scenes.
— BJ SCENE: Nesta’s sexuality is a way for her to express herself through her body and in a way she understands and is good at.
— Sarah wants to write in the sweet spot between really steamy and epic romance and epic fantasy and world-building.
— How does Sarah world-build? She actually builds it while writing the story, but starts with a vague understanding of the world - she wants to know how they get the fruit for their breakfast every morning, and all of those little details. She comes across little details that just live in a magical place in her head - she discovered the Weaver in the woods while she was in New Zealand.
— She was inspired by her own New Zealand hikes to write Nesta and Cassian’s.
— She takes notes on all of her experiences so that she can use them later in her books (i.e. when she has a fever and is sick she even takes notes so she’ll be able to describe that sensation accurately).
— Sarah loves world mythology and she loves the really messy, terrifying fairy tales and folklore - stories that taught survivalist lessons. The Scene with the kelpie is one of her favorite scenes she’s ever written because it took her to a place of primal terror. This scene was barely edited from the first draft, it has basically stayed the same since she initially wrote it.
— Yeah this interviewer is behind, she asks the mega-verse question again. Sarah took the scene out of ACOSF where Rhys sees Aelin, but she did confirm that he was talking about Aelin when he told people he saw a star - he saw Aelin but was spooked and didn’t want to tell everyone.
— She identifies with Nesta’s emotional journey the most, Sarah feels like she’s the most like Bryce (but her parents might say she’s like Aelin). It’s like a personality test, sometimes she feels more like a Feyre or an Aelin. They all have parts of her.
— Sarah pictures the fight scenes in her mind, but with Nesta’s book she actually paid attention to how someone builds those skills (her other protagonists were already trained fighters). She talked to her personal trainer who taught her a bit about swordplay. She went through sessions and she paid attention to where she was sore afterward and such.
— What would Nesta’s beast form be? Sarah says something feline, like a snow leopard with gold wings and iron teeth and silver claws. Mesmerizingly beautiful and dangerous.
— She’s currently editing CC 2, about to get edits back! She says a lot of the side characters will get their own subplots in the second book- it will open up the world a lot more.
— Writing through COVID was hard for her, she felt guilt going off to play in fantasy worlds when so many people were struggling with job loss and sickness. But now she can work and is grateful for that escapism.
— Plans for next ACOTAR: She has it plotted out in her head and knows exactly who it will be about and what will happen. It’s in the queue. She won’t say who it’s about because she thinks her publishing team will want to weigh in on when to announce.

beyond the white mountains
Since I’m on an Ealdor kick right now (not that I’m ever not, I mean, but working on that edit the other day and thinking about Merlin running away with Freya just started me feeling things with renewed intensity), here is some talk about my favorite location, for my own satisfaction.
(My deep and abiding interest in Merlin’s home is a pretty niche passion and probably not something that is particularly interesting to others, which means I haven’t ever really typed up any serious musings about it before, but at this point, I think anybody who hangs around my blog knows that my brain is at least 50% unfettered love for Merlin’s pre-Camelot life, so I’m just gonna go ahead and indulge myself here.)
Something that has always been a pet peeve of mine is the fact the map we’re all familiar with as supplemental material is wrong.
I know it comes from the BBC. It is STILL WRONG.
I’m sure most everyone is already aware of this fact, just by virtue of looking at some of the other locations and thinking, “uhhh that really doesn’t make sense” (for instance, in the show, the Isle of the Blessed is canonically stated to be in Odin’s kingdom, whereas on this map it’s in Camelot) - but my particular area of interest, due to past writing escapades, is Ealdor and Cenred’s kingdom, so just to set the record straight on those locations specifically - this is what our supplemental map tries to tell us:
And this just isn’t right. Canonically, Ealdor is NOT to the east of Camelot. Cenred’s kingdom is NOT on Camelot’s eastern border. And the White Mountains are NOT all the way over there!!!
Here are the Real Facts™, courtesy of the show:
1. Ealdor is NORTH of Camelot.
“So where are you headed?” (Tristan, asking where Merlin and Arthur are going, as they’re on their way to Ealdor.) “North, over the border.”
“We're heading north to a safe haven. To Ealdor.”
2. The White Mountains lie BETWEEN Ealdor and Camelot, not way out in West Nowheresville.
“I know a place. Ealdor. It's beyond the White Mountains.”
“Ealdor lies at the far side of that valley....Agravaine couldn’t have tracked us through the mountains.”
You can even see the mountain range in the show. Ealdor is visibly situated in the valleys created by the foothills of The White Mountains. Merlin has to hike THROUGH the White Mountains to get from Ealdor to Camelot:
And then this is the view on the way from Camelot to Ealdor:
And this is literally what Merlin sees every time he looks out his back door. (This shot is from Hunith’s POV, when she’s standing on the village green watching the fab four head back to Camelot.)
The map can say what it wants, but the White Mountains are NOT all the way over in the western reaches of Camelot, and Ealdor is not out to the east. The mountains are NORTH of Camelot, forming a border between Uther and Cenred’s kingdoms, and Merlin’s home is nestled in their foothills. When Merlin is out haymaking every June in the meadow pictured above, he’s doing it in the shadow of those very mountains.
[This fits, too, with Hunith’s comment to Uther that “winters are harsh in Ealdor.” The climate in various mountainous regions can differ tremendously, obviously, but if Ealdor is on the windward side of the range, it would receive a lot more precipitation (more snow!) than Camelot on the leeward side. And then there’s mountain/gap winds to consider, altitude, etc - all things that could contribute to Ealdor experiencing slightly different winters than Camelot.]
It matters, too, when we think about the scene Merlin has with Freya in 2.09, when they’re talking about their respective homes - when Freya tells him her home was "surrounded by the tallest mountains” - when she talks about the winter storms, and the wind, and the summer wildflowers; when she says it was like heaven - that resonates with Merlin. Freya doesn’t necessarily realize it, because Merlin has been more reticent than her about describing his home, but a lot of what she’s describing is familiar to him. It speaks to him. It paints a picture of something he misses, in a complicated way; it’s something he sees as beautiful. “It sounds perfect,” he says to her. And he means it.
There are a number of reasons why Merlin decides to run off with Freya in 2.09, and this is hardly the most important one. But it does matter, and I personally think taking Merlin’s tangled, frequently-suppressed homesickness into account when we try to understand who he is and why he does the things that he does is relevant, always, even if that particular side of him usually goes undiscussed.
We know some other things about the geography surrounding Ealdor, too, though those features aren’t so egregiously mislabeled on the map.
We know that there is a forest somewhere along the border that extends into Cenred’s kingdom (it’s labeled on the map, it’s just not big enough):
“We're going to Cenred's Kingdom, aren't we?” “What makes you say that?” “Er, because we're in the Forest of Ascetir and we're not stopping?”
(honestly, lol @ Arthur asking Merlin “what makes you say that”.....Merlin’s like “uhhhh i was born here??? i know where tf we are”)
We also know that there’s a “Ridge of Ascetir,” per Uther (I assume it’s associated with the White Mountains, but we cant know that for sure):
“Ealdor lies beyond the Ridge of Ascetir. For an army of Camelot to enter it would be an act of war.”
^ The above two elements bring up a point that I haven’t actually ever seen discussed anywhere else, and I assume it’s just because I wasn’t involved in fandom back when the show was actually airing - but, for clarity’s sake: there is NO canon indication of what Cenred’s kingdom is actually called. I’ve seen the term “Essetir” used in some places on AO3, but that’s not something that actually comes from the canon, and I assume it’s just a fanon misspelling that emerged out of people mishearing the word “Ascetir” (or “Aesctir,” as 1.10′s subtitles put it) when characters were talking about the forest or the ridge. The only places that canonically bear that name are the Forest of Ascetir and the Ridge of Ascetir, both of which are partially located in Camelot - there is no indication that Merlin’s home country is actually called Ascetir, and in fact the kingdom is only ever referred to as “Cenred’s kingdom” (or Lot’s kingdom, after Cenred is dead).
In terms of the rest of the area’s geographical features: we already know about the mountains (discussed above), and some sort of cave system (”I thought you said you grew up in these tunnels”) which exits (in one place, at least) out onto the side of a mountain, beyond which are plains (in Arthur’s words, when he suggests moving further into Lot’s kingdom) and then in the other direction there’s the Forest of Ascetir. We know that there is a river associated with Ealdor (Morgana says “they’ve crossed the river” re: the bandits in 1.10), and we also know that Ealdor itself is bounded on one side by a steep stone ridge (the same one that Agravaine’s men line up on to surround the place):
And this ridge actually fits very well with what we see of the village itself. Ealdor has to be located in an area where stone is easily accessible, otherwise its buildings would not look the way they do. (BBC Merlin is, of course, a fantasy show, not taking place in a particular historical period, but just drawing from real history, most peasant homes in medieval England were not of stone construction, unless the village itself was located in an area where stone was plentiful and easy to access. Moving stone for construction purposes was incredibly labor-intensive and, generally, prohibitively expensive. But Ealdor is obviously located in an area where stone is readily available, and you can see indications of that in the image above.
Ultimately, is any of the above information relevant to anyone who isn’t me?
No, not really. And are there a lot of ways in which this show is often super inconsistent when it comes to geography? Yes, absolutely. (The Lake of Avalon, for instance, is ALL OVER THE PLACE.) But, surprisingly, geographical info on Ealdor/Cenred’s kingdom is actually pretty consistent throughout the canon, and the map is the odd man out - so since canon tops supplementary material for me, and since the map is so clearly wrong about other things, this is how I conceive of Ealdor whenever I think/write about it.
#hey pan just how much time did you spend parsing ealdor before you started writing last year?#.........A Lot#i am who i am folks#and who i am is someone who spends absurd amounts of time on very very niche things#the once and future slowburn#meta#beyond the white mountain

warnings: extremely negative feelings towards a sibling, distressing / intrusive thoughts. placed under a break due to the content of the message. remember, I'm not a mental health professional.
updated with additional viewpoints from readers at the bottom!
I'm sorry in advance.
I really hate my older sister. She never respects my boundaries, insults me frequently, and is just annoying and hypocritical in general.
I've always had these issues with her, but she lived at her own apartment away from me and the rest of my family, so I've been able to control my hatred of her. But last year in March she moved back in and sold her apartment. She has no plans of leaving anytime soon, and I can't stand her.
We shared a bedroom for about a year because we were also taking care of my cousin who also moved in with us last year. My cousin has since moved out, but my sister is unfortunately here to stay for a couple of years. But with extra space, I was able to move into the spare bedroom and thought that would be the end of my problems.
It wasn't. In fact, she has become even more unbearable. The hardest part of this relationship is that she has a weird obsession with being with me. I'm not sure if this is because she loves me, or she's just weird. I think she's weird because my parents never act like she does.
Our bedrooms are right next to each other. There's really no reason for her to miss me. But every single fucking minute she's coming into my room to bother me. I would have more empathy for her if she acknowledged my limits, but she doesn't.
She's constantly cuddling me after I've said for MONTHS that I don't enjoy it and it makes me uncomfortable. She constantly belittles me by saying I couldn't live without her, and that I would be a mess if it wasn't for her (mind you, I've lived without her at the house for YEARS and I was perfectly fine). She's constantly in my business, interrogating me about every little thing. She once locked the door and wouldn't let me leave the room without answering her questions for 20 minutes; she asked me about a $30 Amazon order containing manga I ordered with MY OWN MONEY. And I had permission for my parents to order it! It wasn't her business whatsoever.
I've tried to keep her out numerous times; I've gotten in trouble for it. My parents say I'm being mean and that this is her way of loving me. What I feel like they ignore is that I'M UNCOMFORTABLE. Her way of "loving me" HURTS.
I've tried communication. I've had multiple meetings with my family about my boundaries and they say they'll change, but they never do.
Another factor that worsens this is that I have borderline personality disorder. I'm currently being denied therapy or intervention of any kind. I get told my mental illness is a result of me having an attitude and hating my family.
I writing this to you because I've been having very alarming thoughts recently. I'm been somewhat suicidal as long as I can remember, but this is different. I've been having nightmares about killing my family/my family killing me. I don't want to kill my family. As much as they have abused me, I know they truly love me deep down. But when I'm in a mental breakdown, I don't think for the most part. I'm afraid I'm going to do something to hurt them if they continue to push me. I'm too scared to turn myself into the police and I don't want to be taken away from my home. I truly need therapy, but it's expensive and I'm not allowed to get it.
Are there any options left for me? I love my family and I want to get better, but I can't stand them. It'll be a while before I can live on my own, and I don't think I'll make it that long.
I'm so sorry.
I appreciate that you came to me, however, please remember I am not a mental health professional.
I do not have the best relationship with my family. I've come to accept that they just exist and I moved away from them. I keep a strict level of familiarity with them for my own sanity and well-being. There are people in my immediate family I don't talk to anymore or only speak to in certain situations, with other people around to buffer my emotions. No one in my family understands or respects my mental health issues and I have ceased talking about it with them.
I will admit, I had to ask for help. I'm going to share the answer of someone I trust, because they are much more level-headed when it comes to something like this.
Use different words with your sister. Instead of "I'm mad or annoyed", use words that bring out more empathy - "You're making me sad and uncomfortable. You're hurting me." Anger is usually perceived as something within you, something you must control. But sadness is usually not perceived in the same light. People usually see sadness as something that has a cause and perhaps letting her know that she is the cause will have an effect on her. Using different words when speaking to her may slowly change her perspective.
When it comes to your parents, well, parents do not usually understand sibling dynamics. They're fucking useless most of the time when it comes to problems specifically between siblings. It might be better if you say something like, "Her constant intrusions are affecting my school work. My grades are going to drop." Usually, parents respond more urgently if you say you education is affected - and it doesn't matter if it's true or not, we're just trying to get them to help in some way.
I had to remind them it's summertime lol
Oh shit, you're right. Er. Well, In any case, it seems you've tried having reasonable discussions with your parents and it doesn't seem helpful to continue discussing this particular topic with them. Maybe get into fitness since it's summertime. Go outside, do something active. She can't cuddle you if you're running, right? Then you can also be stronger and feeling better physically improves mental health. Put some music on, go hiking or running, take yourself out of the situation.
I don't know if this is possible, but perhaps if you're experiencing a mental breakdown and you're afraid of hurting your family, run out of the house? It might be better to be physically away from them at that time to avoid saying or doing anything you regret. It may help clear your head and help your family realize that this is something that is truly debilitating to you.
I don't know your age, so I don't know if the school thing is relevant. It's only a suggestion.
You said it will be a while before you can live on your own. When I knew the cons of living with my family outweighed the pros, I did everything in my power to prepare myself for leaving because I needed a goal in order to survive. I needed distractions, reading, writing, gaming, music, anything else to occupy my mind and help control my thoughts. There was a time when I needed music to fall asleep (headphones in on low volume).
Also... uh.
I'm not saying you should do this. I'm only saying I did.
My siblings and I have physically fought before. One has scars from fighting me. The scarred one is the one closest to me currently.
Not saying you should do it.
But I did.
If anyone feels comfortable enough to share how they dealt with it in their own situation, please do. Maybe more perspectives can help this person.

some other experiences sent to me:
anon #1
I don't think I had a situation that extreme but my brother was a little like that. I honestly had to become kinda rude and indifferent. Like he'd always use my laptop and stuff and I put passwords on everything and just don't tell him. And then when he tried to hug or cuddle id say I don't liek it and just push him away physically now this soudns fucking obvious when I say it this way but like I don't think I read that u tried it ? Idk I discovered I have a loud annoying scream that neighbours will hear, and fucking strokg legs I used to kick him away but like I was tiny so I don't really endorse violence but I didnt like being close to a 'boy' essentially at taht age so yea... Idk man siblings are weird and I have had intrusive thoughts so I think I didn't handle it well but for a few years I became an asshole to him and then now I'm good with talking sometimes and I keep it short and sweet and I've mentioned that I'm sorry for being mean in the past bcuz like I am ? Bcuz I'm not an asshole ? ( But like I did what I had to do ) I hope u get the help and support u need
anon #2
I read the message from the previous anon and I have to say I relate to what they say. I wouldn’t say i’ve completely dealt with the situation when it comes to my parents.
I have 4 siblings and i’m the oldest, my sister that’s 2 years younger than me always gets in my way and is a tyrant. Because she’s much taller than me she overpowers me and i also have scars from when we’ve fought. My parents don’t intervene because they say we’ll make up soon and I honestly can’t stay mad at people for long. I also live with my parents and am not able to move out anytime soon until I get my degree.
A few weeks ago my mother was complaining to my father that I don’t help around the house and all that bullshit but it’s obviously not true. Anyway. My father came into my room and threw all my clothes from my cupboards on the floor and said my sister and I must get out of his house. He was literally pulling us and we were crying because where the hell would we go. My smaller siblings were begging for him not to chase us out of the house but he was ballistic. He was constantly throwing insults at me, calling me selfish and disrespectful. I was having a mental breakdown and I said i hope that God takes my life away because i’m too weak to do it myself. I kept saying that and when my parents heard me. They called me crazy and were laughing at me and said i should take it back because instead of me another one of my family members would go.
My parents don’t care about mental health and therapy. It’s all unnecessary to them. But after that night I tried to find my own way of getting rid of the negative thoughts, I choose to ignore what everyone tells me. I agree with everything that you said about trying to get away from their family when they have those thoughts. I try meditation and praying. I’m not sure if that person follows any religion but that’s what helped me. And writing can be cathartic. Also remember that you’re not alone, there are so many people out there who share your sorrows and can relate to your situation. I think about my little siblings who i’m close to and what it would be like if i wasn’t there.
Maybe if they could get a pet? I know having a pet can make you feel less alone and you feel a sense of responsibility towards them. As for their sister, she needs to see their point of view and tell her that she makes her feel overwhelmed with the things she does. She can spend time with her and try to make her understand that they need their space too.
anon #3
I also have sum advice 4 the sibling anon frm a fellow bpd buddy:
Does ur view of ur sister change from "i hate her" to "she's alright" sometimes? Viewing sum1 as all bad or all good is common in bpd ppl and usually changes alot. I rec writing down the moments where she shows she loves u. This could be thru buying smth for u or doing smth 4 u. I had a similar relationship w a friend and this exercise helped me remember that she might not have intentions to hurt me and might b trying 2 bond. Repairing the relationship might take a while. Talk alot if u can, it seems like ur family is at least willing to hear u out, even if there behavior doesn't change much. Keep sum distance if needed. Working out and finding fun hobbies is good.
If u feel like ur breaking down, try breathing exercises n identify 5 things u notice thru ur senses. What do u feel? What do u smell? What do u taste? What do u see? What do u hear? I personally like taking myself down rabbit holes. For example: I see a yellow jacket > this shade of yellow is a cool tone > what makes a color "cool" or "warm" > why do we associate red with warmth > what if the sun was blue > what if ocean water looked orange > is water wet
I usually end up forgetting what was making me upset. If it was a big deal I would still remember, but at least I would b less emotional and a bit more rational.
Search up cognitive behavior therapy and dialectical behavior therapy and try 2 practice sumthing similar 2 exercises u would perform w a therapist. Squeeze stress balls. Masturbate (this blog is perfect 4 that lol). Maybe watch some videos done by therapists on youtube. I watched a couple of videos abt therapists reacting 2 fighting in movies and I learned alot (this video was very fun to watch)!
Anyway that's what helps me! Good luck 2 u!!!

pragma - part eighteen
Pairing: Frankie “Catfish” Morales x F!Reader
Warnings: SMUT
A/N: Ever since I wrote body heat I’ve been thinking about how else one could make love while out backpacking/camping. This chapter involves another way ;)
Also I hc Frankie as a guy who says really cheesy things and tells horrible jokes but in a charming way. This is from his POV.
I have decided to do a few pre-pragma one shots to explore Frankie and reader’s past with each other. Something is mentioned in this chapter and I will expand on it in one of those one shots :)
Enjoy!
Summary: Frankie takes you on a camping trip and makes sure you enjoy yourself.
pragma masterlist
(the gif has absolutely nothing to do with this chapter but it’s frankie so lol)
Frankie watched happily as she walked around the house talking about all the things they’d need for their little camping trip. She had pretended not to be excited and he was sure there was a reason behind that—he’d ask later.
“You know, there’s a camping store in town if you’re missing anything,” he told her.
“I’m sure everything I need is out in the attic.”
“The attic?” he asked.
“Yeah…ex thought it took up too much space anywhere else. I never used it with him anyway.” She shrugged. And there it was. “We planned lots of trips that never happened.” Her smile started to fade and Frankie didn’t like the direction this conversation was going in especially because she was just so happy.
“Well, this one is happening. We’re getting away for a while—from bad times, bad memories, your asshole ex—it’s just gonna be us and the mountains and the trees.” He put his hands on her shoulders and she smiled at him. She was back.
“When’s the last time you went backpacking or camping?” she asked.
“A very long time ago. Uh…the last time we all went together, remember? Then there was a time with my dad. It’s all so long ago now.” He scratched his growing beard. “Looks like we both deserve this.”
“There is one thing I think we’ll need to get,” she said, moving in close and fixing the collar of his shirt. “Double sleeping bag?”
“Oh?” He smirked and wrapped his arms around her. “We’re gonna be alone for a while and you might get sick of me because of that. At least here if you kick me outta bed I can sleep on the couch but it’s not the same out there.”
“Well, if we fight while camping, I guess we’ll just have to make-up.” She smiled slyly.
“Thank God for you,” he chuckled, squeezing your butt once.
“Francisco…”
“Hand slipped.”
She slid her hand down and grabbed his butt. “Now we’re even.”
“Yeah, the only difference is that you actually have something I can grab. I’m as flat as a board back there.” He laughed as she shoved him away, giggling.
“You have enough for me,” she said.
“I do?”
“Yup. You know I love everything about you, right?” She looked at him.
“Like what?” He kind of had a thing for hearing her say what she liked about him.
“Well, let’s see. Your hair, your eyes, your nose, lips. The little bit of grey that grows in your scruff. I love how rough your hands are but how gentle they are as well.” She looked at his stomach. “And my favorite, of course.”
“What is it with you and my stomach?”
“It’s cute and I like to rest my head on it.” She chuckled as he ran a hand over his stomach. “And those legs.” She whistled lowly. “Your thighs are a delight, soft but strong.”
“Anything else?” Frankie was sure he had turned red by now.
“You. I just…love you. You give me something to admire about you every day. I’ve never been very religious, but I swear you’re my angel. You were sent here for me. You saved me.” Her voice cracked and she shook her head. “Sorry.”
“You saved me, too. In more ways than you’ll ever know.” Frankie honestly didn’t know where he’d be without her. How’d he get so lucky?
“Well, good thing we get to go camping with each other. If something happens, we can save each other,” she said, smiling with tears in her eyes. Frankie felt himself getting emotional, but held back.
“The only thing we have to do is pick a spot,” he said. “There are so many to choose from.”
“Which do you prefer?”
“Nope. You’re picking.” He pointed at her.
“But you just said we have to pick a spot.” She gestured between the both of them.
“Well, I meant you.”
“Then you have to decide when we go. It’s only fair.” She walked upstairs then called down to him. “How am I supposed to know which spot to choose? I don’t know what most of these places look like.”
“I have a bunch of pamphlets in my truck and…we have the internet.”
When she came back downstairs, she was wearing one of his shirts. “Okay, I’ll grab my laptop.”
“Did you go upstairs just to change into one of my shirts?” He watched her walk to her desk.
“It’s more comfortable.”
“It’s big on you,” he pointed out.
“Which is why it’s comfy.” She sat on the couch and he walked to the door.
“Grabbing the pamphlets.” He ran to his truck and back quickly, settling beside her. “Here.”
She took them and made faces at all of them except for one. “This spot is beautiful.”
“I knew you’d like that one,” he said with a smile.
“How?”
“We went there years ago,” he reminded her. “All of us. Me, you, Santiago, and a few others. Remember?”
“Kind of.”
“Well, you did get shitfaced so I’m not surprised you don’t remember.” He smiled fondly. “It was fucking adorable.”
“Adorable? You’re making fun of me.”
“Nope. You had to know by then that I was crazy about you. Everything you did was cute to me. I loved making you laugh really hard because you would snort and get all embarrassed but…it just made me fall in love with you more." He shook his head and sighed. “I was so in love. Still am.”
“Why didn’t you tell me right then and there?” she asked.
“I…don’t know. I mean, a girl like you and a guy like me…” He eventually told her but that was years later and by then he had been dealing with a whole other mess—the one that probably played a huge role in making her leave.
“Look at us now.” She winked at him then pointed to the pamphlet. “Let’s go here…again. Looks nice and…secluded.”
“You wanna be secluded?” he asked.
She only gave him a look and it dawned on him. “Oh. Oh!”
“Don’t get all shy on me now. Are you telling me you’ve never thought of it?”
“Now I am.” He thought for a moment. “Let’s go this weekend,” he suggested.
“Okay. Let’s do it.”
*
*
“Who needs $350 hiking boots?” Frankie asked for the hundredth time as they grabbed their packs out of his truck.
“They were a gift,” she said, struggling to get her pack on. He walked over and helped her then just looked at her. “What? Is something on me?”
“No. You just look…great,” he said. “We better start walking.” He led the way, looking to make sure she was okay every now and then. She kept up every step of the way without complaining. He never doubted her. “How’s this spot?” he asked, leaning against a tree.
“It’s definitely secluded.” She looked around then back at him. “I like it.”
“If we walk out a little more that way,” he pointed, “There’s a great view.”
“Great. Now let’s see if I can remember how to pitch a tent,” she said, dropping her pack.
“I assure you, you have no issues doing that. In fact, you’re very good at it.”
She looked at him and squinted. “Francisco Morales…”
He shrugged. “It’s true.” He took his water bottle out and drank before taking his cap off and squeezing water onto his head and face. When he opened his eyes again, she was staring at him. “What? I have enough water for the weekend.”
“I know.” She drank some of her water then poured some into her hands, rubbing the back of her neck. “This is gonna be fun,” she said, moving to stand beside him as he put his pack down.
“Yup.”
They stood there quietly for a moment then suddenly she was on him. He grunted in surprise as she pushed herself against him, kissing him roughly.
“You look really hot with your hair wet like that,” she said breathlessly. “Did you know that?”
“Now I do.” He grinned before kissing her again, stumbling backwards until he hit a tree.
“We…should…get the tent…up,” she spoke between kisses.
“It already is,” he joked again and she laughed against his lips.
“Mm we should at least wait until the sun goes down.”
“Nuh uh…the way the light is shining down on you right now…just like this. I want to see you.” He turned her so she was against the tree now. She kissed him again, raking her hands through his hair and pulling slightly just the way he liked.
“I had no idea you were so…adventurous.”
“We learn something new every day, hm?” He couldn’t keep his lips off her and she was the same with him. When she turned around and pressed herself against him, he nearly whimpered. He preferred to be able to see her face when he made love to her but they had to get creative out here. She moved her hands from the tree and unbuttoned her pants, pulling them down just enough along with her panties.
“Jesus…” Frankie whispered.
She turned her head to look over her shoulder at him. “And don’t worry… I’m ready for you.”
Frankie had been more than ready longer than he cared to admit. He took in the way she placed her hands on the tree for balance as she arched her back just right for him.
“Fuck it.” He made quick work of the fly of his pants, thankful for the relief from constriction. “You’re ready…you’re sure?” he asked.
“Yes Francisco.” She whispered it but as always, hearing her speak his name spurred him on. He placed one hand on her lower back as he guided himself inside. She bit down on her hand to quiet her moan once he was fully inside.
“You okay, baby?” His only answer was her pushing herself back on him and wriggling her hips. “I guess you are.” He kept his hands on her hips for a while, keeping a slow pace, taking his time.
She reached back and took hold of his shirt. “More…please,” she gasped.
He cursed under his breath as he picked up the pace. She moved her hand from his shirt and held onto the tree again. Her body trembled and he crushed himself against her back, wrapping one arm around her and using the other to grab one of her hands that was against the tree. Her knees buckled but he kept her upright.
“I need to see you,” she whimpered and suddenly she was turning around and pulling one of her legs out of her pants. She hooked the leg around his waist and he quickly reached down to get himself inside her again. “Yes."
He hiked her leg up a bit more and she cried out but quickly put a hand over her mouth. “Did I hurt you?” he asked, slowing down.
She shook her head and kissed him before speaking. “You’re just…really deep.”
Now his knees buckled at her words and his fingers dug into her thigh as he felt himself getting close. “You feel so fucking good,” he said in her ear before thrusting faster and harder, hitting that spot she loved over and over again. He finished before her, burying himself within her with a growl. She wasn’t far behind, getting pushed over the edge by the way he throbbed and the sounds he made.
“Holy shit, Frankie.” She noticed how his hips still moved. “Are you still…”
“Shit,” he gasped. “I don’t think I ever came that hard before. I can’t see straight.”
“Can you see me?” she asked and he nodded, kissing her passionately as he carefully pulled out of her and lowered her leg. “I could use a nice nap now. Too bad the tent isn’t up yet,” she jested as she fixed her clothes.
“We’ll make quick work of it. After a little breather.” He sat against a tree and looked at her. “You’re beautiful. Nature agrees with you.”
“Thanks babe. And can I just say that you’re ridiculously handsome. You’re in your element.”
“You trying to get in my pants again?” he teased. “Gimme a few more minutes and I’ll be ready to go.”
*
*
Frankie held her as she hummed a song he didn’t know. They had made love again after getting the tent up and now they were spent, content with just holding each other.
“I’m glad we did this,” he said.
“Me too. I love all my adventures with you.” She played with his fingers.
“Adventures? What…like Indiana Jones?”
“Yeah, something like that.”
“Well, I already found what I was looking for.” He touched her cheek and she looked up at him. “Mi tesoro.”
“And you’re my treasure too,” she said, kissing his chest before resting her head on it again. “We should check out that view tomorrow. Take some pictures and stuff.”
“We can do whatever you want.”
“Are there bears out here?” she asked suddenly.
“Yeah probably.” He realized that she was probably a little scared. “But I won’t let ‘em get you. I already staked my claim on this honey.”
Her body shook against his as she laughed. “Did you really just say that?”
“Sure did.”
“Gosh…my boyfriend is so dorky.”
“And you love it,” he said, holding her tighter.
“I sure do.”

lollipop girl figuring out ki ohhhh it was vansh i handed the black box off to that day. ok and???? who gave you the box in the first place to give it to him????? WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR??? WHY YOU HERE??
oh shit she got kidnapped and coerced into it and........... tattooed or some shit??? she herself can't seem to remember what she has to do with this infernal black box.
vansh giving angre deets of where exactly in the jungle he conked off for 6 hours. man, will we figure this shit out this week or naah? this show always kheenchofies the lamest of "mysteries" for literal monthssssssssss.
angre talking good sense, ki is figuring this out more important to you than riddhima herself??? man, angre...... you're too pure for this world and this fam.
my god the stink-eye vansh gave him. vansh you're a hella bad husband. kuch seekho angre se. honestly.
anyway, vansh frames this bs as being worried for the family and sends angre off on his way.
ANGRE'S SHOULDER STILL HURTS AND VANSH OFFERS TO GO INSTEAD IN THAT PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE WAY THAT DOESN'T REALLY GIVE YOU AN OPTION AND MAN............. I REALLY HATE VANSH. HE JUST SUCKS AS A HUMAN BEING ON THE WHOLE.
package for riddhima that chachi intercepts coz she likes how the box looks. iss family mein sab ke sab pagal hain.
opens it and there's a dabbe mein dabba and some gold chain with a tackyass pendent in it. gold hai, toh ofc chachi keeps it.
it was sent by vyom. thankfully some samajhdaar naukar told riddhima ki chachi le gayi aapka parcel.
chachi gives her some other pendent altogether.
lmaoooooooooooooooo, riddhima's like huh? this looks so real? i ordered some artificial stuff. this is realllllll pretty and legit looking. phas gayi chachiiiiiiiii. 2 lakh ka asli maal riddhima ko pakda diya.
chachi finally fesses up and gives her the one that came for her. i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee smart!riddhima who's playing every asshole in this house.
riddhima finds siya coming home in her sexy sari at bloody 2 am. she just asks siya where she's been and ishani comes and defends her and takes her away.
riddhima noticed that her earring was missing though, and remembers creepy zero fucker playing with a earring that looks exactly like that. tries to warn siya ki sambhal jao, tumhare lakshan theek nahi lag rahe; and ofc siya's rebelliousness kicks in and she's all YOU'RE NOT MY REAL MOM OKAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
btw only dumbass teens and those who aren't really properly adults say this I'M AN ADULT I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING OK YOU DON'T NEED TO TELL ME bullshit. as a fully grown adult i am legit here 5 days a week crying, SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO I LITERALLY HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA HOW TO GO ABOUT SHIT WHY DIDN'T THEY TEACH ME THIS SHIT IN SCHOOL INSTEAD OF MITOCHONDRIA IS THE POWERHOUSE OF THE CELL??!?!
so anyway, we can cut siya from the list of sensible ppl in this house. bacha sirf angre.
angre's gonna set off on his jungle trek but wife's here in a sari to seduce him.
angre's like babe i love it and i love you but can i take a raincheck?
TO WHICH THIS CRAZYASS B PULLS HIS GUN AND PUTS IT ON HER OWN MAATHA. MAN.................... ALL THESE FUCKING RAISINGHANIA SIBS NEED TO BE PUT IN INTENSIVE COUNSELING BEFORE ALLOWED TO GET INTO A RELATIONSHIP WITH SOME POOR UNSUSPECTING SUCKER. tbh, i'm kinda scared and worried for vyom now, seeing what kinda crazy siya could unleash on him. riddhima really worried for the wrong person in that dynamic.
she's legit asking him to choose between work or wife and he's like taking it pretty chill and like, both are pretty important to me.
ohhhhhh, he's chill coz the gun isn't loaded. lmao. i think he's learnt it's best to have an unloaded gun in this house around these crazies.
to which ishani is now yelling at him for walking around with an empty gun which is hella unsafe for him.
he's like ok fine...... it's loaded. i just said it to get you to drop the gun. MAN, EVERYONE HERE JUST GETS OFF ON LIES AND SUBTERFUGE. WHY ARE YOU PPL LIKE THIS?!!???!?!?
ishani's like could you please just leave this horrible job with my disgusting brother who doesn't care about anyone but himself????? now that, she's right about.
anyway this convo is pointless. angre would leave ishani before he'd leave vansh, so............. yeah.
fuck man they really dressing vansh in these white shirts and solid neutral blazers and getting me going unfffffffffff.
time for riddhima and vansh's vague flirtation convo of the day.
after lotsa shakki looks at each other, V finally leaves. riddhima hands off a flask of some healing drink to angre as he heads off on his hike.
idhar anupriya's informing vansh of dadi's newly developed anorexia and sending him off with a full tray. god what a useless filler ep this is.
angre trying to talk sense into the other half of the relationship, asking riddhima why she's pulling this shit, does she not love vansh anymore?
riddhima's like i'm doing it for him; tum nahi samjhoge. *sigh* we know, sis. we all know you are doing this FOR him only. ugh. majaal hai jo tum apne liye kuch karo.
vansh here to coax secrets outta dadi. will it work tho?
nope. she's lying to him and saying she's just worried about "the family" and they hug it out. MAN WHY IS THIS EPISODE SO BORING!?!?!!? NOTHING IS HAPPENINGGGGGGGGG.
riddhima's in the secret room manhandling the safe and instantly the alarms go off. SIS I THOUGHT YOU ALREADY FORESAW THIS IN YOUR DREAM AND MADE ANOTHER PLAN?!?!?!!?
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand vansh is here.
lol she makes no bones about coming here for the "precious stuff". and quicklyyyyyy changes that into HIM being the precious thing she's here for. lmao so laaaaame.
"mujhe safe mein kyun dhoond rahi thi tum?" lmaoooooooooooo
she's like i came to KEEP something in the safe. that do takke ka pendent, which she bought for herself as an anniversary gift from him. lol man, she's got the dumbest fucking story.
he showed her where he keeps the remote of the safe. on purpose i'm sure.
i can't focus on this scene due to how fucking thick rrahul's beard is. MAN SOMEONE GIVE THE MAN 30 MIN TO TRIM IT, IT LOOKS RIDICULOUS. IT AS GHANNA AS THE JUNGLE ANGRE IS ROAMING IN RN.
anyway he's promising to give her a better gift than this: the details of what went down in those 6 hours. so stupid, who would want something they already have?????
precap: same as yest, but one added scene of riddhima and vansh playing darts. okay????????

Fred Weasley requests you say? Well, how about a Fred Weasley x Slytherin girl, their relationship and maybe then fighting in the war. Fred doesn't die because we all know that didn't happen lol or a Fred Weasley x a muggle girl after the war. How they meet how he introduced her to his family? Idk, here's what I've been craving lol hope you have a wonderful day! 😊
I LOVE THESE. LIKE I LOVE THIS SO MUCH OMFG. I'M GOING TO DO THE MUGGLE GIRL IN A SEPARATE ONE BUT THIS IS SO GOOD.
Warnings: Swearing, injuries
Fred noticed you. How could he not you were captivating. Annnndd a bit of a trouble maker which automatically made him like "WOW. SHE'S AWESOME." You had this spectacular sense of humor and this beautiful laugh that you hated but he loved. Fred and George honestly loved to have you around. George loved you like a sister but Fred... Fred was head over heels in love with you. It didn't help that you were staying with them this summer. "George can you PLEASE PICK UP YOUR QUIDDITCH EQUIPMENT!?" Fred whined. "... I'm sorry, how are you the one who's cleaning!?" Ginny asked. "Fred's soulmate is crashing here, you didn't know?" George said and Fred smacked his head with a book. "She cannot see this disaster!" Fred whined. "Dear, it's fine. Although Fred is right, move your quidditch equipment upstairs." Molly said. "Fine!? This is not fine! What do I even say!? Hi Y/n, how's it going!?" Fred asked panicked. "Well, I say it's going fine but I kind of got lost at one point." You answered making Fred whip around. "Hi." You waved. "....How long have you been standing there?" Fred asked. "Like two or three seconds tops." You shrugged. "It is so nice to meet you dear!" Molly said hugging you. "Oh this is happening-- hi." You said surprised. Ron snorted looking at Fred who was obviously screaming internally. "So have you enjoyed your time at hogwarts?" Arthur asked you as you sat down. "Absolutely. Although the other kids in Slytherin are... Annoying." You said. "You're from Slytherin?" Arthur asked curiously. "Sadly." You said. "you don't enjoy it?" Ron asked. "No. Not when Malfoy is always watching my every move." You grumbled. "that boy is absolutely dreadful." Ginny mumbled. "Has he been giving you trouble?" George asked. "... No." You lied. "Y/n, we hang out with you enough to know when you're lying." Fred said. "...Okay so he gives me crap for hanging out with you guys." You shrugged. "there's more." George said. "What--" "There's more to the situation, what is it?" Fred asked. You sighed. "He called me a mudblood." You said. "That insult is still going around?" Arthur asked. "Yeah." You nodded. "I'm going to kill him." Fred muttered. "It's not that big of a deal." You said. "Bullshit." Fred said. "Fred!" Arthur and Molly said in unison. "If this is bothering you, it's a big deal." George agreed. "Guys. I'm fine. Really." You said. "There's more." Ginny said. "Oh not you too!" You sighed. "If you're fighting this hard, something else is wrong, what is it?" Ginny asked. "Nothing! He just.... He just knows how to get under my skin. He said some... Things about Fred and George... And I kind of..." You sighed. "I punched him." You admitted. "What!?" Everyone asked. "In front of his dad." You added. "Oh God, you're the student?" Arthur asked. "You knew!?" Molly gaped. "I heard there was a student who punched his son but... I didn't think." Arthur paused. "Look, it's not that big of a deal, okay!?" You finally snapped. Fred frowned. "Upstairs." He said. "What?" You asked. "Upstairs. Now." He said. You sighed and walked upstairs. "Next time Malfoy gives you trouble you come to me and George. Got it?" He said. "Fred--" "Promise me." Fred said. "...Okay." you nodded.
Fred took this protective nature over you from that point on. When school started back, Fred never left you alone with Draco. He literally would sit in the common room. "Why is this whole common room so dark? How do you even function in here-- is that why you're all so pale!?" Fred asked. You snorted. "I guess so?" You shrugged. Draco scowled at Fred being present. "I see you've brought Weasley." He said. "Problem?" Fred asked. You opened your mouth but Draco spoke. "Of course you'd choose to spend time with her. She's a traitor to her house." He said. "Is that your opinion or is that your father talking?" Fred snapped. "Do not speak of my father." Draco growled. "Don't speak of Y/n like she's an animal and then maybe I'll be less excruciating for you to deal with." Fred said. It was like watching two dogs gearing up to fight. "She practically is one. She's nothing but a mudblo--" Fred's mind was made as he nearly punched Draco but you stopped him. "He's not worth your time Fred." You said. Fred glared at Draco. You both walked towards the exit. "Blood traitor." He said under his breath before you punched Draco in the nose.
So there you sat in detention, Draco and Fred both sitting there. "Why is Weasley here?" Draco grumbled. "I just had to see your pretty face again. Oh Draco take me." Fred said making you snort. "He snuck a howler into Filch's desk." You sighed leaning back into your seat. "That doesn't make any sense that would just earn a--" "It sang." Fred said. "Still--" "Remember the old insulting Slytherin chant?" Fred asked making Draco suck in a breath. You drummed your fingers on the table. "Would you stop that?" Draco snapped. "Okay pretty boy, what the fuck is your problem?" You snapped. "you're my problem! You don't know how to hold your fucking tongue." Draco snapped. "She wouldn't have that problem if you didn't insult her all of the time." Fred said. "Stay out of this Weasley!" Draco said. "Shut up Malfoy!" You said. "Oh my God you two are absolutely insufferable!" Draco said. "We're insufferable!? Have you met you!?" Fred asked. "At least we have reasons for acting the way we do. You're just a dick." You said. "I am not!" Draco said. "Please, you insulted me the second I was in your view!" Fred said. "What do you have against me--" "Why are you always with Potter and his friends!?" Draco snapped. You blinked. "That's why you hate me? Because I hang out with Harry, Ron and Hermione?" You asked. "Yes! You spend time with those insufferable idiots, you come back and you don't shut up!" Draco said. Fred snorted. "This hands down the pettiest thing I've ever heard!" Fred laughed. "I am not petty!" Draco said. "Yes. Yes you are." You said. "I'm friends with Harry because he needs friends. Unlike you he doesn't exactly have a nice home to go back to." You said. Draco sighed. "Still. You get away with everything." Draco said. ".... You say this as I'm sitting in detention.... Please tell me you see the irony and that sentence?" You said. Draco sighed. "Okay maybe not." Draco sighed. "your reasons for hating us are quickly falling apart." Fred said. You looked at Draco. "You don't hate us do you?" You asked. "I never said I did. I just never corrected you." Draco said. "Oh you tricky bastard." Fred noticed. "So why are you... Like that?" You asked. "I'm just aggravated listening to Potter. Over and over that's all anyone hears." Draco muttered. "...I guess that could get irritating." Fred nodded. "I'm sorry." Draco finally said. You blinked a few times. "did you just... Apologize--" "Never speak of this." Draco said. "Of course. We'd never ruin your 'douchier than thou' facade." Fred said making you snort.
Draco stopped giving you so much crap for having Fred around, actually greeting him a couple of times. However he now had a new problem in his hands. You used Draco for an alibi all the time now. The poor bastard went along with it every time driving Filch insane. "I know it was Y/n L/n and Fred Weasley!" "How in the world could it possibly be them when they were with me all day?" Draco would lie. Fred would give him a "Thanks man" nod and George would have to excuse himself to stop from breaking down into a laughing fit. You'd be biting your gums to keep from dying of laughter too and to be honest Even Fred had a hard time keeping it together after hearing the same exasperated sigh from Filch.
Fred always stayed with you though. If you got in trouble, he'd do something to end up in detention with you. If you got hurt in Quidditch he'd be in the medical wing with you. You two were inseparable. You had this massive crush on him that formed after you saw him nearly murder a student for insulting you. Something in you went "Wow... That's attractive". But this year there was this ridiculous dance. You had to watch asking after asking happen in front of you. You were a bit grouchy after seeing so many people ask other people to the Yule. "Hey Y/n!" Fred said, catching up to you as you walked to your dorm. "Hi." You mumbled. He recognized that look. "Is something wrong?" He asked. "Just a whole lot of students being all lovey. It sucks." You muttered. "...Y/n your Slytherin is showing." Fred teased making you smile. "I don't know, everyone seems to be finding love everywhere and it's just aggravating. If I see one more student with a fucking ukulele and a 'go to the yule with me' sign I'm going to scream." You said. "not a fan of musical askings?" Fred asked looking up behind you and shaking his head at a incoming student with a ukulele. "I say, hike up your skirt and ask them normally." You shrugged. "Will you go to the Yule with me?" Fred asked. "Like that. That's norm-- wait seriously?" You asked. "Yes." Fred nodded. Your cheeks heated up. "Uhm... As... As what exactly?" You asked. "Hmm?" Fred asked. "I mean... People are asking their significant others... Are we going as... Something more than friends or..." You asked. He chuckled. "I don't mind being your boyfriend Y/n, but I don't want to overstep any boundaries if you don't want to." Fred said. "I... Uhm..." You shifted, Fred noticing the blush on your face. "I wouldn't... Mind... Dating.." you said quietly. "What was that?" Fred asked. "I wouldn't mind... Dating you." You admitted. Fred smiled and took your books out of your hand. "What-- hey!" You said confused as he walked. "We're going to your dorm right? I hope you realize that you just made me spend even more time with you compared to what I already do." Fred said. "I'm going to try to study! You're not exactly a studious student!" You said. "Oh no dear I'm here as a distraction. A fun distraction that you can make out with when you're bored." He said in your ear making you blush crimson. "Are we still going to your dorm?" He asked. "..............lead the way you little shit." You said.
Weeks went by, Fred always making some sort of contact with you and your favorite thing was his whispers in your ear. He'd wrap his arms around your waist and just whisper compliments in your ear for hours, telling you that you're the best thing in his life. Molly was ecstatic to hear that you two were finally dating. You dreaded that damn dance class though. "Fred, sweetheart, I cannot dance." You said. "Neither can I but we will suck together!" He said making you sigh and take his hand. You two struggled so hard McGonagall was honestly tempted to deduct house points. But after the third try you two got better
When the night of the Yule approached you enlisted the help of your friend Dalia to help you. "So, think you'll blow Weasley's mind tonight?" She asked. "Please, she looks gorgeous she's going make the boy's head explode." Your other friend Riley said. "Har har. I hate that I have to wear heels though. It makes me realize how short I actually am." You sighed. "Haha. Shortie." Riley teased. You flipped her off and Dalia snorted. "Holy shit." George gaped. "George! Is it just you?" Dalia asked. "Yeah.... Fred is actually going to die after seeing you." George gaped. "Is it bad?" You asked. "No! You're just... Wow." He said. "Do you mind walking me there? I have zero confidence walking in these heels." You asked. George nodded and Fred sighed pacing. "Why are you so nervous?" Ron asked. "Yeah, this is literally your girlfriend, you'll be fine." Harry said. "Because what if I say the wrong thing or I do something wrong--" "Woah." Harry said staring at something. "There's so many ways--" "Fred." Ron said staring at the same thing. "That this could go wrong--" "Fred!" Harry and Ron said in unison. "What!?" Fred asked before Harry pointed. You. You were absolutely captivating. Fred sucked in a breath and George helped you down the last step. "Have fun. But not too much fun." George teased before walking away. Fred swallowed hard. "Fred? Is it bad?" You asked. "No! No love you're beautiful!" Fred said. You smiled and he did too. He tucked a stray hair behind your hair and you blushed. "You're absolutely gorgeous dear..." He said softly.
He actually had a ton of fun dancing with you (he may or may not have done the sprinkler at one point). Towards the end of the night you two walked the halls, your shoes in hand. "I swear heels are just to torment women." You whined making Fred chuckle. You shivered and he wrapped his jacket around you. You looked at him and he slinked his arm around your waist. "You are the best thing that's ever happened to me... You know that right?" He asked. "I think George would be insulted." You joked making him chuckle. "I love you." He said softly. You kissed him making him smile. "I love you too." You whispered.
Fred and you were this adorable little couple that everyone seemed to have all eyes on. You had no idea how big of a change the games were going to be. You saw Harry come back and you noticed he wasn't getting up. "What's going on--" then you saw Cedric under him, eyes looking up at the sky unblinking. You put a hand over your mouth and Fred's eyes widened pulling you to his chest. "Fred... He's" you whispered. "I know." Fred said softly. The summer was spent helping Harry through grief and shock, along with planning. He made it perfectly clear that Voldemort was back. You had no hesitation joining the order and when you met Sirius he was slightly hesitant to talk to you after seeing the black and green cardigan. But when the phrase "I say we just stab the fuck out of him and call it a day" came out of your mouth Sirius realized how great you were going to be. Umbridge was absolutely awful though, targeting you and the twins. So you gave her hell and participated in the fireworks plan. You all got expelled of course, but hey, at least that dreadful bitch wouldn't be near you. You worked in the shop with them Fred already making up his mind on something. He was going to marry you. After the store officially opened you two remained for closing. "This was the best day I swear." You chuckled. "Can I make it even better?" Fred asked. "You can try." You chuckled. He handed you a box and you looked at him surprised. "Fred... Is this--" "Open it." Fred said. You did, seeing the ring and crying. "Yes you fucking idiot!" You said hugging him.
Molly was ecstatic to have a new daughter join the family, George saying "SHE'S THE COOLEST SISTER EVER!" and Ginny staring at her brother like "...Fuck you too buddy." You agreed though, you wouldn't get married until the war was over. You basically acted as the medic for the order, healing any injuries. So when Sirius didn't come back with them you knew how bad this was going to get. When the war officially approached your heart was pounding. You witnessed the first spell fired and immediately pulled out your wand, ready for combat. Fred protected you, as you did the same for him, eventually saving his life at one point. That's when you noticed Remus. He was dealing with too many attacks and you immediately fought back, defending him best to your abilities before Tonks came in and helped out.
When the battle stopped you nearly had a mental breakdown seeing your dead friend in Hagrid's arms. Draco almost went to the other side, but one "we're here for you Draco" from Fred made him stay put. You listened to Neville, watching Voldemort as you did to make sure he wouldn't dare try to hurt him. That's when you noticed movement. You looked at Harry, grabbing Fred's arm before he gasped for air and you let out a relieved laugh as Draco threw the wand to Harry. You all ran to safety, saving Ginny from Bellatrix as you did and witnessed the final second. You hugged Fred as the battle ended, the family and Harry joining as you did.
After the battle you all sat around the Burrow drinking. Shamelessly. "it's finally over." You said. "We can finally breathe." Ginny said with Harry's arm around her. "We can finally get married." Fred said to you. You blinked. "...Can we... Can we get married now?" You asked making Arthur and Molly look up. One quick trip to a courthouse and a cheap white dress later, you were married and officially a Weasley. Ron might've cried. A lot.
Bill and Fleur basically had you over every other night because you were the only other married couple besides their parents. Actually you and Fleur ended up quite close... She was there when you found out you were pregnant. She had learned enough English from Hermione, so when you said "I need a pregnancy test" she understood "Oh shit she thinks she pregnant." Fleur showed up, paper bag in hand ushering you into your bathroom while Fred was at work. Thirty minutes later and you discovered that you were pregnant. And Fred was home. "Uhm... Hi honey." You said, pregnancy test behind your back. "Hi sweetie. It's been a really tiring day, tell me something good." He said. You swallowed. "I'm pregnant." You said. "....What?" Fred asked. "I'm.. pregnant and Fleur is upstairs she... Brought the pregnancy test see?" You said. He looked at it and then you a few times before kissing you with happy tears. "I'M A DAD! HOLY SHIT!"

falling - c.h.
a/n: hello! i’m back with another calum imagine. i wrote this as a surprise for miss jules, my literal ride or die and my bff forever whether she like it or not so SURPRISE JULES PLEASE DON’T HATE ME NOW THAT YOU CAN READ THE WHOLE THING. i hope you enjoy! who knows when i’ll update next lol
pairing: readerxcal
word count: 2.3k
summary: you and calum finally meet up after two years
rating: PG13
warnings: angst, some smut but not graphic, alludes to mental illness but doesnt specify. also, anything in italics takes place in the past. :))
It’d been two years since you and Calum had broken up. Granted, you started off as a PR relationship; your career had just taken off in the acting industry and Calum’s band needed some press, so who was better suited than you? You were contracted to date for three years. Three years of paid dates, paid travel, and every time you posted a picture together on social media, you guys were paid too. It was a pretty nice life.
You and Calum promised to keep it professional. Unless you were in front of the cameras or out in public where there were like to be cameras, you tried not to act like a couple. You two were forced to live together; so, you got a house in Los Angeles, a dog or two, and you even frequented certain places in the area to make them your ‘date spots’.
Being an actress, you were good at faking the chemistry needed to pull off a PR stunt such as yours. Constantly having to look like you’re in love, holding hands, kissing each other, going on dates, going on tour with him from time to time, the lines between faking the chemistry and actually having chemistry began to blur. Before you knew it, you and Calum were beginning to fall for each other.
It’s not like you planned to fall for him. He was just so good at being a fake boyfriend that you really fell for the act. You fell for the kisses and the sweet nothings he’d whisper in your ear from time to time. You fell for the romantic dates he’d set up, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. You fell for him every time he told you ‘I love you’ and every time he told you that you were his world. You fell harder every time you had sex with him.
You couldn’t believe it when he told you that he wanted to marry you. Both of you were hiking with your friends and you’d stopped for a picnic once you’d gotten to a picnic area. You sat across from him as he fed you chocolate covered strawberries.
“I want to marry you, you know.” Calum had said.
It’d taken you by surprise. Of course, at this point, you had thought you were genuinely a couple and despite talking about your futures together, you had never once brought up the thought of marriage.
“You want to marry me?” You smile. “You mean that?”
“Well yeah. Of course.” Calum smiles back. “Someday, after the band has settled down and we’re ready to slow down. It’s obvious our careers are too important to us to settle down right now. But yeah, one day, I want to make you Mrs. Calum Hood.”
You noticed he was holding a little ring between his fingers, holding out to you. You gasp and look at it as he places it on your left ring finger.
You were practically bursting at the seams. You couldn’t wipe the smile off your face, and you knock him over and pepper him with kisses over the picnic blanket, not caring if you got food on your clothes.
You wore that promise ring until the day you broke up. The day that seemingly made you turn into the woman you are now.
It was a year to the day after your PR contract ended. You thought you and Calum had been okay and that everything was fine between you two. He’d come home from the studio and told you that you needed to talk. You could tell by the tone of his voice that he was serious. You sat on the island in the kitchen as he stood across from you, leaning on the counter.
“I don’t think it’s working out.” Calum says.
“What do you mean?” You ask, looking up at him.
“I don’t want to be your boyfriend anymore. That’s what I mean.”
You sigh and try and hide the tears from Calum. You can’t let him see you cry. “Is it something I did?”
“No, it’s not you. I just don’t think I’m in a place where I can be in a relationship.” Calum tells you.
“You were acting like you were fine this morning.”
“That’s the thing, I was acting. I’ve been acting this entire time. That was our job, (y/n!)” Calum says, harsher than he meant to. “There have never been any true feelings on my end. I’m so sorry I had to tell you like this.”
You’ve had enough. You slide the ring he gave you two years ago on the hike off your finger as you walk over to him. You hand him the ring and as you place it in his hand, he holds your hand there a little longer, like he wants to let your touch linger for just a moment more.
“I hope the next girl you date gets to love you as much as I do.” You tell him, looking into his eyes. “I’ll pack a bag.”
*
That was two years ago.
Now, you find yourself back at Harry’s, one of the diners you and Calum used to frequent when you went on dates. It’s hard being back, but you were desperate for some caffeine and could honestly devour about a trillion waffles right now.
You sit at a booth right next to the one you and Calum used to sit. You love that spot, but you can’t even bring yourself to look at it anymore. It hurts too much to remember the times that you and Calum came here together.
After your movie premieres, album release parties, the final show of his bands North American tour, you both always found yourselves here. Granted, it is a 24-hour diner, the service is incredible, and the food is amazing.
It’s a quarter past 3 in the morning. You can’t bring yourself to sleep. So of course, your natural instinct is to come to Harry’s, hoping that you can finally gain a sense of normalcy.
You hear the door chime, sensing that another guest has entered the diner.
“(Y/n)?” You hear a familiar voice say. You haven’t heard them say your name in so long.
You look up. “Calum.” You breathe.
You feel a pang in your chest, and you can’t tell if you’re heart broken or relieved to see him. You haven’t seen him in person since the day you broke up. It’s been two years since you looked into his big brown eyes. Two years since you’ve smelled his scent. Two years since he broke your heart.
“I didn’t think you’d be here.” Calum mumbles.
“I couldn’t sleep.” You say.
“Is it okay if I sit with you?” Calum asks, hoping that you’ll say yes.
You nod your head and avert your eyes. You can’t bring yourself to look at him. You know if you do, you’ll start crying, and you won’t let him see you cry.
Your waitress comes to your table and nearly gasps when she sees the two of you together. You look up at her and she’s looking between your usual spot and this one, and you can tell she’s confused.
“Do you want your usual?” She asks. Both of you nod.
You can’t bring yourself to speak. Even if you could speak, you don’t know what you’d say. How do you tell the person who’s sitting in front of you that you can’t stop thinking about them? That you wish you’d known his feelings from the beginning, so you could’ve saved yourself years’ worth of heartbreak? How can you bring yourself to say anything to the man who broke your heart in the matter of seconds?
Your waitress comes back with two cups of coffee and some creamer. Calum takes his cup and takes a sip straight away, you don’t understand how he can like the taste of black coffee.
“Thank you.” You say at the same time.
For the first time, your eyes meet, and you take a good look at Calum’s face.
Dark circles around his eyes, his face has gotten a bit skinnier since you last saw him, and his eyes are a shade of dark brown you’ve never seen.
“How ar-” You begin.
“I miss you so much, (Y/n).” Calum blurts. “Every day for the last two years, I’ve thought about you. I can’t get you out of my head, (Y/n). You’re like a record that’s on repeat in my brain.”
You’re taken aback by his demeanor. You’ve seen Calum act a lot of different ways before, but never like this. You’ve never seen him so… broken.
“Calum…”
“I know I hurt you. Every day I’m reminded how much of an asshole I am for it. I said things I didn’t mean that day. I couldn’t risk getting hurt but instead I ended up hurting you in the process. And then because I hurt you, I hurt myself. I will never forgive myself for being such a dick to you, (Y/n).” He’s tearing up. Calum hardly showed his emotions in front of people, but you were his one weakness and he knew it.
Every day for the past two years, he’d been wondering how to make it up to you. The countless songs he’d written about you meant that you couldn’t even listen to the radio without thinking about him. Seeing comments from fans on social media asking you about him meant that you had to turn commenting to friends only. Every day for the past two years, you’d been reminded of the constant pain he’d put you through. Every time you thought you were getting better, something would pull you back into it.
“You really hurt me.” You tell him. You’re not sure what else to say. You want to scream, and you want to cry but right now, you can’t feel anything. “I’ve spent every day for the last two years trying to get over you, Calum. I loved you so much.”
“I know.”
“You don’t. You held my heart in your hands from the very day you said we were a team. Since that day, I’d been falling for you. You were my entire world, Calum. I didn’t care about anyone but you. You’d kept my heart in your hands for three years. I trusted you with it. But when you gave it back, it was in a million pieces and I had no idea how to fix it.” You’re crying now. You don’t know when it started but you know you can’t stop.
“You are the best thing that’s happened to me. I don’t know how to tell you how sorry I am, (Y/n). I realise I was wrong.”
You want nothing more for him to get up from his side of the booth and to come hold you and tell you that everything is going to be alright. To feel him around you one more time.
“Can you hold me?” You ask him. As soon as you do, it’s like there’s a sense of relief on Calum’s face and he immediately comes to you and holds you in his arms.
He peppers kisses all over your head as he holds you tight, and you inhale his scent – he smells like his cologne and a little bit like cigarette smoke – which even though you hate cigarettes, you can’t help but find them intoxicating when he smells like them.
When you finally look up, you and Calum share a glance.
“Shall we get out of here and talk about this elsewhere?” Calum says. “I don’t want to talk about us at Harry’s.”
Calum drives you back to your old house and the two of you enter. You can’t help it, but you kiss him. Every kiss after that is feverish, you need him close to you or you feel like you won’t survive. It’s been too long without his touch and you don’t know if you’ll ever see him again after this, but you need him right now.
Every layer of clothing is gone but you can’t stop kissing him. His face, his neck, his chest. His skin is hot and smooth to the touch, and you can’t remember the last time you wanted him this bad. You can’t remember the last time you wanted him to love you this bad.
Calum is careful as he inserts himself between your legs. You let out a moan which he silences as he kisses you.
Both of you are crying, but you can’t tell if it’s because you miss him, or if this is a bad idea, or because you know this is most likely the last time you’ll have any contact with him.
You wipe your tears and his away once he breaks away from the kiss, and you look into his eyes. Every little touch his not enough so you pull his face down and kiss him again as your fingers entangle themselves into his hair.
Once he finishes inside of you, you find yourself wanting more and more of him. You can’t keep your hands off of each other, but you’re not sure you’d have it any other way. He lays on top of you and kisses you from your forehead down to your legs, leaving harsh hickeys and soft kisses wherever he pleases.
You pull him back up to you and kiss him. It’s intense and passionate and unlike any other kiss you’ve had with him before. This one feels like love.
Calum pulls away. “Stay here with me tonight. Let me make it up to you.”
You search his face before pulling him close and kissing him again. “Okay.”
You rest your head on his chest as your bodies lay tangled up in the sheets. He strokes your hair and begins singing you to sleep like he used to do when you were together. You drift off to sleep, wondering what’s next for you and Calum.

Match up! (*^_^*)
Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to do these. I’d love to get an ikesen match-up please? I’m a 5’8 female (INTJ, scorpio), who’s body type is athletic and curvy. I tend to describe myself as sturdy. I have long brown hair that reaches my tailbone, with several ear piercings. I am currently a Master’s student studying marine biology, but my aspirations go far beyond this. My goal for a career is to be a research and field leader at a research institute studying marine life. I want to spend all my time in the field first hand leading the expeditions. I’m especially drawn to the ocean, coral reefs and killer whales, I most of all want to work in the Antarctic one day. Aside from my love of animals, my interests include learning about science and biology, building and engineering new things, outdoor activities (off-roading, fishing, hiking, camping), sports, and my one creative skill is writing fiction. I’ve been active my whole life and if things had gone a little differently I would have wanted to be a professional athlete. My favorite sports are alpine skiing, scuba diving, ice hockey, running, and underwater hockey. It takes me a long while to open up to people, which means I tend to only have a few close friends. However in the workplace setting I am very confident and I’m not afraid to speak up. I’ve had people tell me that I’m intimidating, and that my presence can have a great influence on the mood of a room/small group. But I’ve also had friends tell me I’m extremely chill, and never make anything a big deal. I see myself as very highly ambitious and the type of person that knows what she wants and how she’s going to get it. I know what I like and dislike, and I’ve grown past the fear of having people dislike me. I’m a pretty independent person. However, when I’m with my friends I am very much a joker, I love to make people laugh, and act silly. With only the closest of friends the chaotic energy comes out lol. My humor can range from immature to pretty dark. But I really need to know the people I’m around first; otherwise I tend to just go back into my shell. I can read people pretty well, which means I’ll usually try to make them feel more comfortable than myself in situations. This has led me to sometimes feel a little put out. I tend to go wherever, whenever I please. If I plan a trip, I’m going for a good time and don’t really need any schedules. I guess to end it all I’d say I’m very much the type of person that sees all the potential the world has, and all the potential I have to make a difference. Yes this can be hard and painstakingly difficult, but I won’t ever stop striving to meet the expectations and standards I place on myself. I will only keep going, learning more skills, going on more adventures, and seeking new horizons. Thanks again for taking the time to do these!! :) Sorry this turned out so long lmaoo - From Admit Terra (The second one running the blog)
Hi, hi, dear! ❤🌻Thank you so much for the request love! 🦊Hehe, you sound like a super cool person, lol master students unite!🙌🌻 Sorry for taking so long with this! Hope you enjoy this, dear, and I hope you have the best day❤😊! @sengoku-revolution admin Terra! lol tomorrow i’ll post admin Maru’s matchup!❤🌻
So I match you with…………… Yukimura
You were on campus attending a conference on marine biology that could greatly help you with your masters. The conference was incredibly interesting and ran late, only finishing around 10pm. As you and the other students and professionals in the field of marine biology, exited the giant lecture hall, you looked up at the sky and saw a flash of lightning blazing across the sky. You regretted walking to campus at that the moment, wishing you had rather driven, as you could tell by the heavy sky that soon it was going to rain cats and dogs. You quickly made your way back to the main campus gate, luckily you didn't live to far away. A drop of rain hit your nose and then another. You debated taking shelter from the storm in your department’s computer room, at least then you could chart down all the new knowledge you had gained from the conference.
That’s when you spotted a fellow post-grad student. You looked up at the sky once more and noticed that the lighting was going to strike the exact spot that the student was standing in. You ran and pushed him out the way. You braced yourself for impact but it never came, instead you started feeling dizzy and disoriented. Reality around you warped in a cloud of smoke.
When things came back into focus again, you noticed the man in the lab coat was gone, and you were now standing on the balcony of a burning building. You peered through the smoke to see a man peacefully sleeping on the floor. Unaware of the imminent doom of his downfall. You thought you might have been trapped in a dream, but the heat radiating from the flames brought your straight back to reality. Thank goodness for your physical strength, as you easily managed to wake up and carry the man out of the burning building. The man you had saved was incredibly intimidating and had the same look in his eyes that a shark would have right before it attacks, so you decided to bolt.
You ran and ran and ran through the forest, and soon your feet lost contact with the ground. You looked down and saw that you had almost run yourself off the edge of a cliff. Thanks to Yukimura’s quick reflexes, he managed to grab hold of your waist and save you from running yourself off the mountainside. He still holding onto you, as he took a few steps back to ensure both you were safe before letting go. You stared up at the man in disbelief, just where the hell were you. That’s when a familiar figure caught your attention. The man you had just saved from being hit by lighting! Sasuke took you aside and started to explain the situation to you, you honestly needed to sit down as it was a lot to take in.
Sasuke looked over at a beautiful blond man that reminded you of a snow prince and asked if you could stay with them. The man narrowed his icy eyes at you and gave a quick nod, before climbing on his horse and signaling to the rest of the men that it was time to go. Sasuke helped you up onto the horse, and that is how your new life in Kasugayama started.
You were someone who couldn’t sit still and always need to be doing something, so you opted to help out around the castle to earn your keep. Even though you were a little shy and reserved, you managed to fit right in with the people of Kasugayama. You were a little surprised at the mixed bag of men that you landed up with, as usual, it would take you quite a while to open up and come out of your shell, especially when meeting new people. But for some reason, they seemed to make you feel comfortable, and you found your self coming out of your shell and befriending them pretty quickly. You especially took a liking to Sasuke.
Sasuke was the one who formally introduced you to his Bff and your rescuer, Yukimura. This boy was definitely rough around the edges and did not have a way with words, unlike his flirty lord.
You were low key thankful for your ability to quickly read and sum up people as you quickly came to realize that Yuki wasn't such a bad guy. Although he seemed to think it funny to call you a wild boar woman. Even though he was slightly awkward with his words, you found yourself strangely attracted to him. He was down to earth and easy to talk to, and you found yourself relaxing around him.
“Hey dummy how many times do I have to tell you I ain’t no wild boar, call me that again and i’ll smack you,” you playfully quipped. Since arriving in the past, you had grown closer and closer to the aloof man. The two of you would banter every time you were together. “Awww common, you are definitely a wild boar, I mean you are just as strong, sturdy and athletic as one.” He would say with that mischievous boyish smile. At that you simply put Yuki in a headlock and started giving him a nuggie. He then started tickling you, which usually ended in a tickling/wrestling match between the two of you. Yuki’s wolf pup would usually get in on these playful fights that the two of you often engage in, and start licking the two of you mercilessly until both, you and Yuki are left laying on the floor breathless from laughter.
You loved that Yuki like you, loved staying active and going on adventures. And TBH Yuki was thrilled that he finally had a friend that he could go on fun adventures with. Sasuke would usually be too busy looking after Kenshin or doing research, to join in on these adventures. Not that either of you minded as you loved hanging out with each other. The second you found out that Yuki would run to stay fit every morning, you were ecstatic and joined him on his morning runs. This boy was shook! He legit has never met a woman that could keep up with him, yet here you were almost outrunning him. After your morning runs the two of you would always get breakfast together before starting your duties for the day! This is something the two of you did and looked forward to, almost every single day.
When the two of you were together, the banter and jokes were real. You loved to be a bit of a joker around Yuki. You honestly adored the way he would laugh with his whole body and go super red all the way to the tips of his ears, whenever you cracked a joke.
Speaking of laughing, you also had this crazy ability to instantly lift the mood in any room you walked into. Especially when it came to cheering Yuki up. As you see, Yuki has a tendency to take on more responsibility than he can handle and sometimes he gets crushed under the weight of it. But since you arrived, Yuki felt like he could do anything and take on the world cause you were right there by his side making some silly jokes and teaching him not to take things so seriously. You were the one that taught him to take occasional breaks and to relax, and that the world wouldn't fall apart if he wasn't working.
Lately Yuki had noticed that you were low on energy and not as bright and chaotic as usual. He also noticed that your jokes were a bit more, morbid as of late. He was determined to cheer up his dearest friend, after all, if you were happy then so was he. He stomped his way into your room and saw you sketching something. “Oi, boar woman what’s wrong, and don’t try and lie to me dummy, cause everyone has noticed that you have been down lately.” You looked up at the clumsy man and smiled, telling him it was a long story. He then narrowed his eyes and left it at that, although the picture you were sketching of the ocean certainly didn’t go unnoticed.
The next morning at the crack of down, Yuki dragged you out of bed to go on an adventure with him. You were super excited, these little adventures weren’t uncommon.
If the two of you weren’t off hiking up some crazy mountain, or fishing, you were camping with him in enemy territory as he spied on the Oda forces. Of course, it wasn’t all work as the two of you would go wherever the wind took you. Once Yuki was done with his spy work, he would send off his report back to Shingen, leaving the two of you without a strict schedule to follow, with all the time in the world to explore and experience your surroundings.
You noticed that the two of you were heading closer and closer to the ocean. Your eyes glimmered in delight when you realized that the two of you were going to spend the day on the beach. You wasted no time at all, climbing off the horse and running into your beloved ocean. The two of you played in the waves for hours on end. At some point, Yuki even fished out and handed you a pair of makeshift scuba diving gear. After a long day of playing in the waves and observing the ocean life in the crystal clear water, you and Yuki sat on the beach and watched the sunset. “Hey dummy sit in front of me, I’ll dry your hair for you. Can’t have you getting sick,” you wouldn’t usually let someone dry your hair for you. Still, he looked so cute with that blush spreading across his face, that you couldn’t help but comply. As Yuki dried your long beautiful hair, the two of you started talking.
You thanked Yuki for taking you on this fun breach adventure and told him all about your dream of becoming a field leader at a research institute studying marine life, as well as wanting to be the one leading the field expeditions. To say Yuki didn’t know anything about marine life would be an understatement, but the way you passionately talked about your dreams and ambitions had him straight up inspired. You told him all about how you were drawn to the ocean and coral reefs and that you wanted to work in Antarctica one day. He never told you this, but as you talked about your dreams of travel and research, he couldn’t help but make a silent vow in his heart to do whatever it takes to support and make your dreams come true.
In the weeks to follow you and Yuki spent more and more time together. Yuki was falling deeper and deeper in love with you, every moment the two of you spent together, and he was determined to tell you how he felt.
The weather started getting colder and colder, and soon it started snowing. He remembered from previous conversations that you loved ice hockey and alpine skiing (not that he knew what any of that meant). Hence, he decided to ask Sasuke for help in gathering everything he needed so that the two of you could play your favourite sports together. He had all his friends dress up and had Sasuke teach them all the rules of ice hockey. When all his friends were in position, he went to your room and said he had a surprise for you. He then put a blindfold over your eyes and led you downstairs. When he removed the blindfold all your Kasugayama friends stood before you, each holding up a letter that combined spelled out, “I Love you.” You were so happy and touched by the gesture that you couldn’t help but grab Yuki and plant a kiss on his lips right in front of all your friends. Cheers erupted as Yuki grabbed your hand, as you parted and led you onto the makeshift ice hockey-field.
The next day Yuki surprised you with alpine skiing down a mountainside. You honestly loved this goofball so much, and you couldn’t help but smile and shower his face with kisses whenever he would surprise you with your favourite activities.
Yuki honestly loved and adored everything about you from your chilled personality to your ability to brighten any-room you walk in. In between the war and battles, Yuki was always sure to make time to go on fun, crazy adventures with you, to explore new horizons. After he and Shingen finally managed to win back their homeland, ultimately achieving Yuki’s childhood dream. Yuki had one more surprise for you, and that was a trip back to the future so you could pursue your dreams.
The two of you travelled around the modern world, and you achieved your dream of leading research and travelling to Antarctica. And Yuki was right by your side through it all, supporting you the best he could.
Often the two of you cuties could be found on some crazy adventure, cuddled in each other’s arms and enjoying making new memories and living through new experiences together.
If the two of you aren’t being active and playing sports, you are spending a quiet evening at home watching tv and resting in each other’s arms.
Yuki loves holding you tight in his arms as he pulls his finger through those long beautiful locks. He loves to nuzzle his nose into your neck and leave sweet little kisses on your neck and cheeks as you read your newest piece of fiction to him.
Together the two of you continue to learn and grow while making the world a better place.

Group Texts Are Ridiculous (Or, Five-0 Starts a Group Text)
McDanno, T, A03, 6k so far
Summary: After Steve leaves Oahu to go find himself, Five-0 starts a group text to keep in touch while Steve’s away. Picks up after the end of Season 10.
Notes: This story is set in the present, following 10x22, but there’s no COVID in it... I wanted it to be fun. The story is complete and will be posted over the next few weeks. Many thanks as always to my awesome beta, @perryavenue.
Chapter 3
June 25, 2020
JR: What’s the name of Steve’s vet, the one he sort of dated?
QL: If you and Tani were considering a threesome you could have let me know.
TR: News to me. But I suppose we could talk…
JR: Shut up. Eddie’s hurt, do you know the vet’s name or not?
TR: Oh no, what happened?
JR: I’m not sure, we just got back from a run and he’s limping a little.
DW: Don’t go anywhere. Keep Eddie still, I’ll be there in ten.
JR: Shouldn’t I take him to the vet?
DW: Just called them. Stay right where you are.
JR: Danny, Eddie’s fine, I can just put him in the truck. He probably just stepped on something sharp.
QL: Is he bleeding? You should elevate his leg.
JR: No, he’s not bleeding, it’s not that serious.
TR: Can you tell which paw it is?
JR: Of course I can tell, it’s the foot he’s holding up when he tries to walk.
DW: Did you not understand the part about keeping him still? Walking is not keeping him still. Sit with him, don’t let him move.
JR: We’re sitting on the couch, don’t worry, Eddie is fine. He’s licking my face. Normal Eddie behavior. I think he actually forgot about his foot.
TR: Doesn’t hurt to be careful. Junes, where did you take Eddie anyway? Just the beach?
TR: Junes? You there?
JR: Sorry, had to let HPD in.
TR: Wait, why is HPD there?
JR: Apparently Danny sent them. With flashers and sirens.
TR: Of course, that makes sense.
JR: Um, no it doesn’t. Eddie is fine. And Five-0 isn’t supposed to use HPD for personal stuff.
TR: Yeah, we never do that.
SM: What the hell happened to my dog?
July 5, 2020
LG: I hate all of you, but especially Tani.
TR: It was just lemonade, Grover.
LG: No, it was iced tequila with one lemon slice floating on top.
TR: Party lemonade.
LG: It’s not very patriotic to get your elders drunk.
TR: No one said you had to drink it.
LG: Pretty sure you said anyone who doesn’t taste my lemonade has to go home.
TR: I had already had some lemonade when I said that. I can’t be held responsible for my actions. Face it, you’re a lightweight.
LG: Clearly not true.
TR: Then why did Renee make you leave early?
LG: We had another party to go to, as I told you last night. Where is everyone, anyway? I thought Junior and Quinn were on today.
TR: I’m sure they’ll turn up any minute.
LG: Junior is still asleep, isn’t he?
TR: The lump under the blankets just cursed at me when I thumped him, so no, not totally asleep.
LG: Tell him to get his ass in gear and get to work.
TR: He says his head is exploding and he wants to die.
LG: Requesting a sick day, then?
TR: I’ll come in instead.
LG: Seriously?
TR: It’ll be better than listening to Junior puke all morning.
LG: I didn’t need to know that. How come you’re all chipper?
TR: I drank a bunch of water before I went to bed. Like you’re supposed to.
LG: Hey, did Danny ever show up last night?
TR: Nope.
July 11, 2020
LG: I’m at the dock, which way should I go?
DW: Towards the boats. The big floating things.
JR: I can see you, keep going the way you’re facing, then head south when you get to the end of the
row.
LG: South? Sorry, forgot my compass.
DW: Just listen for the music.
TR: I can’t believe you know the words to Taylor Swift’s greatest hits. At least my music is relatively current.
DW: Grace was just the right age. It got stuck in my head.
JR: And now it’s stuck in ours.
<i>TR has changed the name of the group text to</i> <b>Shake It Off Dance Party</b>
QL: Be there soon. Just found Jerry wandering in the parking lot.
JG: I wasn’t wandering, I was organizing my gear.
TR: What kind of gear do you need for a boat ride?
LG: You do realize you are asking Jerry this.
JG: By the way, thanks for including me today. I’ve missed you guys.
DW: We miss you too. But if you could all hurry up, that would be great. I’d like to leave the dock sometime before it gets dark.
QL: Do you guys do a Five-0 summer outing every year?
TR: Nope, first time.
QL: Really?
TR: Yeah, generally we get enough excitement at work. And Danny has some issues with boats.
DW: I actually enjoy boats, when there isn’t any gunfire, or sharks, or poison. I only have issues with <i>Steve</i> and boats. Steve isn’t here, so we’ll be fine.
QL: So much to unpack there.
JR: Didn’t Steve set this up?
LG: He surely did. The boat belongs to a friend of his. I think he thought we all needed some cheering up.
TR: You mean he thought Danny needed cheering up.
DW: If Steve wanted to cheer me up he wouldn’t have sent me on a boat trip with all of you.
LG: Ouch.
JG: We may have a slight delay.
TR: What did you do?
JG: I didn’t do anything. But Quinn was texting and walking at the same time and tripped.
DW: Is she ok?
JG: She didn’t fall in the water. But her phone did, and she’s kind of pissed.
LG: Well we’ve got beer, that might help.
JG: Now’s she in the water. She’s trying to find the phone.
JG: Quinn can hold her breath for a really long time. Kind of impressive.
LG: For pete’s sake, what’s the point? She’s never going to find it, and it’ll be ruined anyway.
JG: I said the same thing, but she didn’t listen. Now she’s going to talk to the harbormaster.
TR: To report a dropped phone?
JG: I don’t know, she just told me to wait while she went to talk to the harbormaster.
TR: It’s not like we need our phones for fishing. We probably don’t get service out there anyway.
DW: Hardly matters. At this rate we’re never leaving the dock.
July 17, 2020
SM: Send help to this address ASAP. My phone’s dying.
DW: WTF Steve?
SM: Tow truck kind of help. Flat tire.
DW: It’s four in the morning here.
SM: Oh, sorry. Got up early. Not that early.
DW: Way to give me a heart attack.
SM: Sorry, didn’t mean to. You okay?
DW: Course I’m okay. I’m in bed, asleep. Or at least I was asleep. Now Eddie’s awake too and thinks it’s time to get up and go for a walk.
SM: Wish I was there.
DW: What?
SM: In bed, I mean. Instead of stuck on the side of the road.
DW: Where are you, anyway? You haven’t mentioned lately.
SM: Near Yellowstone. Been camping. Did some hiking into the backcountry.
DW: Sounds suitably outdoorsy.
SM: Yeah.
DW: Your phone doesn’t seem all that dead. You could have called AAA yourself.
SM: I wasn’t sure how long it would hold out.
DW: It’s okay. I miss you too.
July 18, 2020
JR: So we’re all ignoring that conversation, right?
TR: Yes, because we work for them, and we have better things to do today.
TR has changed the name of the group text to Luau Luau Luau
JR: Good to know you’re excited.
TR: Just cross your fingers there aren’t any murders in the next six hours. I want to be there when the pig comes out of the pit.
SM: You guys are doing a real luau?
TR: Yup. Kamekona dug the imu. Or had someone else dig it, probably. But that sucker’s been cooking for hours already.
JR: Hey Commander, how’s it going?
SM: It’s good, Junior. Thanks. How’d you get Kame to cook you a pig?
TR: It’s to thank Danny for helping him with some kind of permitting problem for his new place in Kapolei. Kame found out Danny had never done the whole pig in the ground thing, so he decided to show him how it’s done.
SM: You’re telling me Danny got up at dawn to put the pig in the imu?
TR: I can’t swear to it, I wasn’t there. But that was the plan.
LG: I was there. And no, Kame didn’t do any actual digging, he got Nahele and his friends to do it. We did have to carry some rocks.
TR: What do you think, Lou? Pretty cool, right?
LG: I am in favor of anything that combines fire and meat, you know that about me.
SM: Danny must not have gotten any sleep at all.
DW: That’s why they invented coffee.
SM: How much did Kame charge you for it?
DW: Nahele brought us all coffee from Island Vintage.
SM: What, did he come into some money?
DW: I paid him back, you dunce.
SM: I can’t believe you guys are putting together your own luau.
DW: Makes you miss home, doesn’t it?
SM: Sure does. Danny, you’ve really never been to a luau?
DW: Not really. Seemed kind of touristy.
TR: That’s why you have to do it yourself. I made chicken long rice last night, and Junior’s bringing the lomi lomi salmon.
JR: I wanted squid but Tani likes salmon better.
SM: Good luck getting Danny to eat squid unless they’re deep fried.
DW: I’ll have you know I haven’t had a fried fish in ages. I’ve been grilling mahi almost every weekend.
SM: You have? That’s awesome.
JR: He does a good job with it, too. It’s never dry.
DW: Thanks, Junior.
SM: Clearly my healthy eating has finally made an impression on you, Danny. I’m so proud.
JR: I think it was his doctor that forced him into it, but whatever.
SM: What do you mean? What’s wrong?
DW: Nothing’s wrong.
SM: High cholesterol?
DW: Shut up, I can eat whatever I want. I’m just choosing to be more aware of what goes in my mouth, that’s all.
LG: Right, that’s why you banned malasadas from the office.
TR: Maybe he’s just trying to maintain his girlish figure.
JR: Are you really trying to lose weight, Danny? Because you’re as thin as I’ve ever seen you.
LG: I’m not sure they sell those slacks in extra-slim, you better be careful.
DW: Can we please stop talking about me?
SM: Seriously, is everything all right, Danny?
DW: You guys are ridiculous. See you later at the beach. You can ogle me there as I stuff my mouth with kalua pork.
July 21, 2020
JR: Tani, you up?
TR: You know you can just come home and get into bed with me, you don’t need to say dumb stuff like that.
JR: Honestly I just wanted to know if you were awake. It’s one o’clock in the morning.
TR: LOL sorry. Yeah, Quinn just left and I’m trying to clean up. We tried to make fancy margaritas and it looks like Whole Foods’ fruit section exploded in my kitchen.
JR: What’s a fancy margarita?
TR: You know, you add in something that tastes good and something that tastes bad.
JR: That can’t really be the recipe.
TR: It seemed like it. Grapefruit and rosemary – who wants rosemary in their margarita?
JR: Ok true.
TR: Strawberry and jalapeno was pretty good though. But we put too many jalapenos in.
JR: Sounds dangerous. How many have you had?
TR: A good amount. When are you coming home?
JR: Don’t know. Adam and I are still parked down the road from the restaurant where the victim died yesterday. Danny thinks whoever was responsible, the assistant chef probably, will break in tonight.
TR: Sounds fun.
JR: I’m bored out of my mind. Ran out of things to talk about with Adam about two hours ago.
TR: Let’s play fuck, marry, kill.
JR: Okay. But let’s text just us, okay?
TR: Smart. Okay, you go first. Celebrities, fuck, marry or kill.
JR: Any celebrities? That’s kind of broad.
TR: Ok, celebrities named Chris.
JR: You’re really making me go first.
TR: You’re the one who said you were bored. I could just throw all this crap into the sink and go to bed. But I’ll go first if you want.
JR: Okay.
TR: And obviously no getting mad, right?
JR: Obviously.
TR: Fuck Chris Hemsworth, marry Chris Evans, kill Chris Pratt.
JR: That was fast.
TR: I may have thought about it before. Now you go.
JR: Fuck Christina Aguilera, marry Chris Evans, kill Chris Noth.
TR: Very enlightened.
JR: Everyone wants to marry Chris Evans.
TR: Agreed. Okay, next. Marvel characters.
JR: That’s kind of an overlap, isn’t it?
TR: Only with a few of them. We’ll say no repeats. You go first this time.
JR: Fuck Wonder Woman, marry Black Widow, kill Loki.
TR: Sure you didn’t reverse Wonder Woman and Black Widow?
JR: Nah. If I’m going to spend my life with somebody I want her to have some depth, you know?
TR: I’ll revisit that when I’m less drunk. Okay, fuck T’Challa, marry Tony Stark, kill Fury.
JR: Fury? He’s a good guy.
TR: I didn’t like the way he faked his death.
JR: You confuse me sometimes.
TR: I think that’s okay. Any sign of the assistant chef?
JR: No. And Adam seems entranced by some game on his phone.
TR: Animal crossing?
JR: I think it’s some kind of card game app. Jerry mentioned it.
TR: Why play cards on an app instead of in person?
JR: Maybe because you’re stuck at work at one in the morning.
TR: Fair.
JR: Okay, let’s do another round.
TR: Fine. Five-0. Present or former members.
JR: No way.
TR: Come on, you must have thought about it.
JR: No getting mad?
TR: Obviously. And we can’t say each other.
JR: Obviously.
JR: You go first.
TR: Fuck Steve, marry Danny, kill Catherine.
JR: Again, you do this really fast.
TR: These answers aren’t hard.
JR: Didn’t know you hated Catherine so much.
TR: She screwed over my imaginary fuck buddy and my imaginary husband, so, yeah.
JR: I feel like you know more about this situation than I do.
TR: As with all things. Come on, your turn.
JR: This is hard. And very unprofessional.
TR: You cannot leave me hanging.
JR: Fuck Quinn, marry Steve, kill Adam.
TR: He’s that boring?
JR: He’s that boring.
TR: You know Danny thinks I’m just like Steve. In the good ways.
JR: I’m aware.
TR: You only said Quinn because you couldn’t think of any other women on Five-0, didn’t you?
JR: Ok fine.
TR: Be honest, who would you pick? Really?
JR: There’s no way you’re getting me to put that in a text.
TR: It’s just us, come on.
LG: No it’s not.
TR: Oh shit.
July 22, 2020
DW: Ok, regarding last night’s text message fiasco, I’m incredibly disappointed and have no choice but to run this by HR.
TR: Wait, we have HR?
DW: No, actually. But I talked about it with Steve and we laughed our asses off. Try to rein in the sex talk just a bit, okay? And maybe don’t mention actually killing people in our group text.
JR: Sorry, sir.
TR: Sorry, boss.
DW: And Junior’s right. Everyone wants to marry Chris Evans.

Yes! *forever excited about open requests*. How would Jumin react if Mc wants to take him on "poor student" vacation? Like hitchhiking, sleeping in shelters or in a tent and just spending time together? Love your writing!
Jumin x Mc at a ,,Poor Student’’ Vacation
Hey~ I‘m happy that you’re excited about my open requests! I hope that you like the story because to be honest I hate ,,poor students“ vacations.I just hate hiking (I‘m lazy lol) or sleeping in shelters or in a tent 😵It would be death for me...but I still tried my best! So please give me your honest opinion about the story (and ignore my personal feelings, lol)Have a nice day my love!
,,Mhhh…“ you mumbled as you looked through the various places. There was nothing you liked.Italy had too many tourists around this time, Spain and French looked good, and the USA looked awesome too, but your problem was that you were getting bored by all of the fancy places you could visit.Suddenly an ad made it impossible for you to look for other places.Annoyed, you kept watching the video while a woman’s voice was talking.,,None knows anymore how to go on a relaxing vacation. Everyone goes out to Malibu, Rome, Madrid or Fuerteventura but no one knows anything about their own homeland.Everyone is busy posting pictures on Instagram or showing pictures to friends.Everyone has to bring little presents and get stressed out, but that’s not what a vacancy is for,“ the woman ended her speech, making you concentrate on her ad.,,Try out little adventures. They cost less and you have the possibility of making a lot of memories!“ the woman said. You were finally able to close the ad, however, you shut down your computer entirely. You decided.
Jumin and you had no need to save money, but you thought something easy would perhaps make you feel a bit better. And so, you took out a paper and began to search for places you could hike.Jumin would be able to take time off work for a week and so you had to carefully think about what you would do.,,I‘m home my love,“ Jumin called, taking off his shoes. You quickly approached him to take his jacket and bag.He smiled at you as you carefully took care of him.,,My love, I‘m always so thankful to you, did I ever tell you that?“ he asked you after he kissed you.You chuckled at his cute words and enjoyed the warmth you received.,,By the way,“ you began, ,,I found something for our vacation! It took me a while, but now I finally decided what we can do!“ you happily confessed.Jumin watched you and waited for you to tell him what you wanted to do.However, he didn’t expect you to decide on something so...poor.,,You want to go camping?“ he asked you to make sure that he understood you. You strongly nodded and told him why you wanted to do it.
,,In college I went camping with my friends and it was the best time ever.We stayed here in Korea and enjoyed the nature of our country! Surprisingly, we also got to know things about each other we didn’t expect at first at all! We don’t need our phones. We have freedom and can do something different!“ you told him, your voice filled with enthusiasm.Jumin smiled at you. Well, how bad could it be? He asked himself.
Your vacation slowly came near and you were busy with the preparation. You luckily found a tent again and also two sleeping bags. Not to forget some gadgets and sunscreen.Jumin was excited to get to know this part of you better, even though he had the feeling that he wouldn’t be able to enjoy it 100%.,,So...these clothes are what I should wear…?“ he asked you unsure. You began to laugh loudly as you saw his expression.,,Yes, hahaha! Husband, you look handsome!“ you honestly told him and chose some more clothes for him.And so your new adventure began, bags filled with the things you would need for sure and your heart filled with excitement and happiness.
,,So...this is a camping site…?“ Jumin asked you as a lot of people sat together. Some of them were eating, others were just talking or playing something. You nodded strongly and inhaled the fresh air.,,Can you feel that too?“ you asked him, overjoyed.Jumin wasn‘t sure if he should answer yes or if he should stay silent because he could feel something, but for sure you didn’t mean the heat and sweat he felt or the slippery ground underneath his feet. You quickly unpacked the tent and tried your best to explain to Jumin how it worked.,,My my, are you guys newlyweds?“ a woman with a baby in her arms asked you, observing you both. You proudly nodded and smiled at Jumin, which made his heart melt.,,Ohh! How cute! We and the others will eat dinner together. I'll be waiting for you, okay?“ she laughed and went away after you told her that you guys would come over for sure. And so the week went by. Jumin slowly adapted to the life of eating together with strangers every evening, showering in a public bath or, what bugged him a bit, going on the toilet where other people made their work too.But he still had fun and he found out that marshmallows fit together with everything over the fire while others were singing, in hot chocolate or as a simple snack.,,So, what are you guys doing?“ the woman who invited you asked you.,,I‘m in charge of my father’s company and the next CEO,“ he told them.,,My wife is a host for charity parties,“ he then proudly answered and hugged you.,,And you still go camping? Is that a hobby?“ a man asked you. You, however, explained to him what you told Jumin before and the others understood immediately.
,,It’s much better like that, right?“ you asked Jumin after you took out another blanket and made it cozy for the both of you.,,I want to make a family with you quickly so that I can show our children what kind of people they should become...the kind of people who share their food even though they don’t have a lot and can laugh easily with others…“ Jumin whispered to you, as he held you in his arms.,,I‘m sure that we can make our children turn out like that for sure…“
And so you guys indeed went camping twice a year, in the future even with more people…

“Yo, Jimin! Stop spacing out and come on!”
Rolling his eyes, Jimin followed behind the others as they made their way up a large, grassy hill. Spring was in full force and his allergies were acting up. He didn’t want to come out there in the first place. The countryside was nice, but only when he had the time to spare to enjoy it. Assignments were piling up now that he was about to finish Grad School. His friends were insistent that he take a break before he burnt himself out. Jimin didn’t mind the burn out. It meant he was putting his whole heart into something.
Trekking up the mountain, however, felt like a colossal waste of his time.
“Jimin Hyung, you’re too slow!” yelled Taehyung as he motioned for him to hurry up.
Jimin scoffed as he stuffed his hands into his pockets, clambering up the hill. Out of the seven of them, he was lagging behind. Mostly because he was in no real hurry to get to their destination. He wasn’t the superstitious type, but he indulged his friends every once in a while.
Hence why they were making this trip up the mountain in the first place.
“The house isn’t going anywhere, Taehyung-ah,” he called back, adjusting his sunglasses, “and neither is the old woman, I’m sure.”
He finally made it to the top of the hill where the others were taking a break to hydrate themselves. Even though they started their journey up the mountain in the morning, it was already nearing midday. The heat was slowly intensifying and Jimin could only wipe at the sweat on his neck and brow with his handkerchief.
Jungkook tossed a bottle of water over to him as he made his to the others. Yoongi and Namjoon were busy looking at a map while Hoseok fussed over Taehyung for not putting on enough sunscreen. Seokjin rifled through his pack to hand out granola bars for everyone. Jimin sighed, admiring the image while worrying about his mid-term assignments in the back of his mind.
“How much further, Hyung?” Jimin asked as he sipped from the bottle.
“Honestly? I’d say another mile.” Yoongi scratched at the back of his neck as he pushed the map off to a confused Namjoon. “If we follow Namjoon’s directions, we’ll stumble across the gateway to the Underworld.”
Namjoon scoffed as he clicked his tongue behind his teeth. “Not true, but okay, Hyung.”
Seokjin waved his hands back and forth in an attempt to chase away the tension. “Now, now,” he said, handing off the granola bars, “stop being so uptight. You guys clearly need an energy boost.”
Jungkook crushed the wrapper and shoved it into his pocket after having devoured his snack in two bites. He was still chewing. “Not that I have anything against it, but I can’t believe we’re going to a witch’s house.”
“Hey,” Taehyung said, sucking air through his teeth, “she’s not a witch! She’s a powerful shaman.”
Jimin rolled his eyes. “Oh geez…”
“I can’t believe I was dragged out of bed to hike up a mountain for half the day,” muttered Yoongi as he bit into the granola bar, “I’m already behind on my work.”
“You can work anytime,” said Namjoon as he bumped shoulders with him, “you need some sun.”
Hoseok smirked as he handed Yoongi a water bottle. “It’s true, Hyung. You can’t stay trapped in your basement all day.”
Yoongi frowned. “It’s my studio, guys.”
Suddenly, Jungkook threw himself onto Yoongi’s back in a playful hug. “Aw, c’mon, Hyung! You’re starting to sound like Jimin Hyung, obsessed with work all the time!”
“I’m still in school, you dummy,” Jimin snapped as he reached out to poke Jungkook’s cheek, “and so are you. You should take it more seriously.”
He watched his friend pout, still clinging to Yoongi. “After college, that’s it. I’m never going back to school again!”
Jimin smirked as he shook his head. Jungkook had a plan, albeit a simple one, and if his parents hadn’t forced him to go to college in the first place, he’d already be joining the workforce like an adult. Having a college education didn’t make things better, but it would be nice if the world didn’t treat him like the simpleton he always portrayed himself to be. Thankfully, Hoseok and Seokjin helped him with his studies. Taehyung worked full-time and only gave himself time off to poke at Jimin since, out of the two of them, Jimin was the one who decided to attend Grad School.
Taehyung peered over Namjoon’s shoulder at the map, then looked over where another hill crested off just to the North. “Uh, shouldn’t it be just over that hill up there?”
Jimin watched Yoongi’s chest swell with pride. “You mean the one a mile off?”
“Yeah.”
A low groan came from Namjoon. Without saying a word, Yoongi held his hand out and Namjoon placed some bills into his palm. When had a wager been made?
“Well, let’s go,” said Seokjin, readjusting his pack into a more comfortable position, “the sooner we get there, the sooner we can get our fortunes read and head back down the mountain.”
“Agreed,” mused Jimin, already starting off toward the hill, “I have a paper due next week and I need to get started on it.”
Taehyung sidled up next to him and nudged his side with his elbow, causing Jimin to side-step to the left. “You’re telling me it’s not the first draft? I find that hard to believe.”
Jimin shrugged as they all started off toward the hill. “I had to help Grandma with her rice cake shop while she was going through treatment.”
He watched Taehyung’s playful demeanor deflate immediately. “Oh, I’m sorry. Why didn’t you tell me? I could have swung by.”
“It’s fine,” he said, reaching out to pat Taehyung’s head like he was a child. Jimin laughed at the way his friend pouted, his cheeks puffing out in defiance. “She’s a lot better now. Just routine stuff and to get her prescription. You know how Granny likes to overwork herself.”
“Even so,” muttered Taehyung, “next time, just freakin’ call me, dude.”
“I will. I will.”
The trek up the hill wasn’t bad. In fact, it didn’t even feel like it was a mile at all. Everyone was talking all at once about different things. He wouldn’t admit it out loud, but Jimin really had missed his friends. They all grew up together in the roughneck parts of Seoul, but they’d grown up to be pretty decent human beings.
Maybe it was because they had each other. Or maybe because they feared getting beat into the next century by their families. Either way, they all managed to walk the path they felt was best suited for them.
Namjoon reached the top of the hill first, determined to salvage some of his dignity from having lost his bet with Yoongi. He pointed to the house just further up the hill, surrounded by wildflowers and canvassed by a small cluster of trees near the back of the house. They all stopped, blinking slightly at the stark contrast of the house’s architectural design. Last they checked, they were definitely still in South Korea and while it wasn’t uncommon for structures to have a western look to it, it seemed a little farfetched to have one this far out in the countryside.
On the outside, it looked like a Tudor cottage with natural brick and molding. Everything else was white or a soft yellow color for the trimming, the roof tiles a rich cobalt blue. No one said anything, but it was clear that all they could do was silently marvel at the house’s appearance. Jimin had to wonder if the person residing in this house was, in fact, a witch, and not a shaman like Taehyung claimed.
“See? I told you it was a witch’s house!” exclaimed Jungkook, giving voice to what all of them were clearly thinking.
Taehyung cleared his throat. “Who said that the shaman was Korean?”
“Give it a rest, you two,” said Hoseok in mid-sigh. He peered at Yoongi who was visibly battling with something internally. “Everything alright, Hyung?”
Yoongi bit his thumbnail, a telltale sign that he was uncomfortable. “...I think we should leave.”
Seokjin blinked as he managed to grunt out a noise in confusion. “Huh? Wha-already?”
Again, Jimin wasn’t the superstitious sort. But he learned to trust Yoongi’s hunches over the years. If their friend said they needed to leave, then they should have been hightailing it down the mountain. But even he couldn’t hide his own curiosity. Nothing was even happening yet. Why was he already wanting to leave?
“I feel like something is going to happen.”
“Like what?” Jungkook tilted his head slightly. “Something bad?”
“No,” Yoongi replied slowly, his line of sight shifting to look back at the house, “just...something different than what we’re probably expecting.”
Taehyung raspberried and then laughed. “Oh, come on, Hyung. You make it sound so ominous. We came up here to get our fortunes read, so let’s just do that and then we can leave.”
In that sense, Jimin couldn’t really argue with him there. They came all this way. Superstitious or not, he didn’t want to leave without having something to show for it.
Suddenly, the door to the house opened and out stepped a woman. She looked to be in her mid to late thirties. Her dark auburn hair fell across her shoulders and back in thick ringlets. She wore a garland of flowers on her head like a crown and her clothing made her appear to have stepped out of the Victorian Era - a long and flowing black gown with a white corset cinched tightly around her waist. The sleeves belled out at the elbows, covering her hands, and there was a golden sash draped across her chest - a black crest of a one-winged dragon emblazoned along it.
She took measured steps from the front porch of the house, her dress a point of reference against all the natural colors surrounding her. Her eyes were closed, but it was clear that she had no problem seeing if anyone were to assume she was blind. Turning her face slowly to look in the direction of the sun, Jimin couldn’t help wondering if the woman had seen them at all.
“I just finished making a pot of tea,” she said, and Jimin could feel everyone’s shoulders stiffen from the tension, including his own. The woman turned her head to face them, but her eyes were still closed. She smiled. “Would you all care to join me?”
They all began crowding Yoongi and speaking at once.
“What are we gonna do?”
“Do we go in? Yes? No?”
“She looks really pretty. I bet she is a witch!”
“I mean, we came all this way, right?”
“Dammit, I told you she was a shaman!”
“Since when are Westerners considered shamans?”
Yoongi angrily huffed air from his nostrils. “Shut-up!” he snapped, glaring at all of them, “I can’t fuckin’ think!”
“You came to have your fortunes read, did you not?” They all looked back up at the woman who gestured with one of her bell sleeves to the door. “Then please, come inside and make yourselves comfortable.”
There was a bit of reticence sparking inside of Jimin. But he resigned himself to do whatever his friends wanted, since that was the reason he allowed himself to be dragged out there in the first place. He couldn’t deny his curiosity, but he was just as much a skeptic as any other.
Taehyung, not waiting for them to decide, strode up the hill. Jungkook quickly followed suit until the others were left with no choice but to do the same. The fragrant smell of tea and something sweet seemed to linger from the doorway and the aroma eased whatever trepidation they may have had. Maybe this wouldn’t have been as bad as they were imagining it to be.
Upon entering the house, they were all stunned near the entrance. Everything inside the interior of the house was white. The walls. The ceiling. The floor. There wasn’t a single pigment adorning anything on the surface level. However, everything was decorated with flowers of various shades and sizes. The smell nearly overwhelmed Jimin and he quickly covered his mouth to keep an oncoming migraine at bay.
A small calico cat meowed at the appearance of guests intruding on its home. Jungkook and Taehyung immediately attempted to pet the cat, but it danced just out of reach. Instead, it strode to the far corner of the main living room area, sitting down to observe them from afar. It may have been a trick of the light, but Jimin swore the cat was looking directly at him more than the others.
“Don’t mind her,” said the woman as she closed the door, “she’s always been finicky around strangers.”
The woman gestured for them to have a seat wherever they liked just as the kettle whistled with life. The sound of dishes clinking showed that she was busying herself with preparations. The sweet smell of something freshly baked was even more powerful now that they were inside. Jungkook made a comment about it, to which the woman laughed but said nothing more.
It went without saying that the house, itself, was strange. The woman in question was even stranger. No one said anything about it. At least not yet. Jimin could see Yoongi across the room, rifling with what to speak out about in regards to their current situation.
“How did you even find out about this place, Namjoon?” Seokjin asked suddenly. Yoongi looked at him as if he’d read his mind.
Namjoon shrugged as he peered at a large fern hanging from the wall. “I read about it in some magazine article.”
Hoseok blinked. “A magazine article? Really?” He craned his neck to look at the woman as she started pouring tea. “Did you have an interview, Miss?”
“No,” she replied simply, “I haven’t been interviewed by anyone. I rarely get visitors as it is.”
“I see,” Jimin said slowly as he shot Namjoon a dubious look, “makes me wonder what magazine you were nosing through.”
He watched Namjoon’s expression change to one clearly offended. “You make it sound like I was reading porn.” He folded his arms across his chest. “It was just some magazine a friend gave to me while we were hanging out. Figured it would be a cool place to go check out.”
“So you dragged us out here on a whim?” Yoongi arched a brow. “Because of a magazine article, Namjoon-ah?”
“Come now. There’s no need for such hostility.” The woman approached them, carrying a large tray with tea and small butter cookies. “As I said, I rarely get visitors and your energy really livens up the place.”
Jungkook took the tray from her and bowed his head, even though she still had her eyes closed. “We’re sorry to intrude.”
She gestured to the large table off to the right. While the others sat in the chairs, he shook his head some. He didn’t remember the table being there earlier. Or had his mind been playing tricks on him while he was focused on something else?
The woman waited for them all to take a seat before slowly sitting down at the head of the table. With a wide flourish, she lifted her right arm up. As the bell of her sleeve slid down, revealing her pale skin, there was a large deck of cards clasped between her fingers. Some of his friends gasped in delightful surprise and even Taehyung clapped. Seokjin flashed an open-mouthed grin as he lifted the cup to his lips. Hoseok blinked curiously, his eyes full of wonder as to what would happen next. Jimin merely folded his arms across his chest, not really impressed but not dismissive either.
“I do not read fortunes so much as I read futures.” She placed the deck on the table, spreading the large cards out in a semi-circle in front of her. “Are any of you familiar with Tarot?”
As far as Jimin knew, none of them were really into the occult. Things regarding fortunes were often told through talismans and rice or even bowls of water. Cards weren’t really used and talismans were only brought out for exorcisms. These were all things that Jimin didn’t believe in to begin with. Superstitious practices were coupled with customs that all Koreans performed out of habit and from being raised in certain household environments that kept true to the old ways.
Again, Jimin just didn’t buy into that sort of nonsense.
The woman smiled warmly when a few replied that they did not, in fact, know about Tarot. “Wonderful,” she said as she gently clapped her hands together, “then you’re all in for a treat. Can I ask that you all please choose a card from the pile?”
Each of them looked to the other, before shrugging. Jungkook was the first to grab a card, followed by Taehyung. One by one, they all picked a card, with Jimin being the last to pull from the deck.
“Now, I want you all to place your card face up on the table.”
They each did as they were asked. The woman waited, her eyes closed, but it seemed like she was able to see regardless. She made little noises, nodding her head a few times, and then paused when she looked in Jimin’s direction. He didn’t know what card he was looking at, but it must have been something interesting enough to cause the woman to not say anything. Instead, she placed a finger on her chin and tapped it a few times. Her full lips formed into a small ‘O’ before shifting into a smirk.
“Well, well,” she finally said, folding her hands in her lap, “it seems that all of you have pretty good luck.” She turned her head to face Jimin, her elegant smile still present. “All except you. You have the worst luck of them all.”
His friends all turned to face him and his cheeks instantly grew hot, both from embarrassment and outrage. How could she determine something like that from a simple card draw?!
Not willing to accept her words at face value, Jimin scoffed loudly. “What makes you say that?”
She picked up his card and held it up so he could see it. “This is The Tower. It signifies a sudden change that is to occur, one that is completely outside of your control.”
He arched a single brow. “So?”
Again, the woman’s smile remained. “It means that you, a man who takes pride in your level of control, is about to have that control stolen from you.” Her smile widened a small measure. “And that pride of yours will be shattered as well.”
Jimin rolled his eyes. “That’s insane.”
“Is it?” She gave a slight tilt of her head. “As someone as practical and rational as yourself, are you certain that you would not break if such a thing were to occur?” The woman placed the card among the pile, grabbing for the others, and then shuffled them in a wide circle. She gestured to Jimin, then to the pile. “Draw again, please.”
“Whatever,” he said, reaching for the pile and picking up a card. When he looked at it, his eyes widened. “What the hell is this?” Jimin stared at the woman, watching her smile grow a fraction more. It was like she already knew what he’d drawn.
He drew The Tower once more.
“See? I told you that you have the worst luck of them all.” Jimin was too flabbergasted to come up with a decent rebuttal. Instead, he could only watch the woman take the card back and place it back into the pile. Her hands shuffled the cards once more. She picked up a card and turned it face up on the table. “The Wheel of Fortune is what you fear. You fear change because change means having to adjust your current way of thinking; your current outlook on life. You also take many things for granted, but most people do.” She turned to face him again. “You fool yourself into believing that you don’t, smothering your selfish desires down in the hopes of keeping them hidden from those closest to you.”
Jimin balked, unable to process everything this woman was saying. Who did she think she was? She didn’t know him! She didn’t know how he thought or of the struggles he had to endure in order to get this far in his life. He was young and still had more things to experience; to learn. But that didn’t mean he was some bump on a log. He knew that due diligence and perseverance mattered when achieving a goal. Focusing on those goals was what led to dreams being reality.
Nothing came from simply sitting around idly and doing nothing. And in that case, Jimin didn’t believe in luck either.
He didn’t even bother stifling the laugh that burst out of him. It startled his friends, because they knew that laugh. It wasn’t a joyous sound. No.
It was an angry one.
“You’ve got some nerve, Lady,” he said, narrowing his eyes, “you don’t even know me. And what? You think flipping over a few cards means you can tell me all about my life? Like you’ve been there to see any of it? Don’t fucking kid yourself!”
“J-Jimin-ah,” called Hoseok gently, trying to get Jimin to calm down a little.
But it was too late. Jimin was furious.
Because what right did this woman have to expose him like that in front of his friends? His struggles were his own. His merits were his own. No one had a right to them because Jimin worked hard to get where he was. He was still working hard to maintain it. Winding up purposeless and with no drive was a nightmare he wouldn’t even dream of suffering through.
At the end of the day, who gave a damn about smelling the roses? Enjoying the little things in life didn’t erase the reality that he had to face. Small indulgences like being with his friends was more for them than for him. Because, in the end, he would have to deal with his problems by himself. No one else would be able to help him and, as such, he ultimately couldn’t rely on anyone but himself.
For the first time since they arrived, the woman’s smile fell. She even looked a little disappointed. “It truly is a shame you feel that way.” Shaking her head, she picked up another card and held it up to show Jimin. “And because of that, because of your lack of trust in others, as well as your own guarded selfishness, this is your fate.”
He glared at the words on the card, only to realize that she was holding it upside down. He quickly deciphered the backwards writing, then blinked in confusion.
It was The Hermit.
“You have lost your way, Jimin Park. You have deluded yourself into believing you have a purpose when, in fact, you do not understand your true purpose at all.”
Jimin’s gaze met the woman’s, causing him to shift back harshly in the chair. The legs scraped loudly on the floor, the noise sending an unpleasant chill to spread throughout his entire body. It wasn’t the fact that she knew his name, even though it wasn’t given in its entirety. That wasn’t what startled him.
It was her eyes.
Her eyes were finally open, revealing swirls of purple and blue the likes of which he’d never seen before. The house began to shake violently, causing the tea cups to rattle off the table and crash to the floor. When he looked around, he realized that his friends were gone. Only he was alone with the woman and he stood up quickly, forcing the chair to fall to the floor. The woman, however, remained seated. She seemed unaffected by what was happening and all Jimin could do was look around helplessly as he yelled for his friends who, for all intents and purposes, vanished into thin air.
“And until you are able to truly understand who you are, you will never be able to become who you are meant to be.”
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?!” he snarled at her. “And what did you do with my friends?!”
“You will be alone. Isolated. For as long as it takes.” Her eyes narrowed. “Until you recognize your mistakes. Until you can see beyond your own desires. The world that you’ve never bothered to give a second glance will now ignore you in return.”
Her words hit him like a punch to the gut. He didn’t fully understand what that meant, but Jimin had an idea and he didn’t like it. He didn’t like it one bit.
“And the day that it finally looks back at you, that will be the moment when you will have to make a choice. You will have to choose between the world...or yourself.”
And before Jimin could question what she meant by those ominous words, an array of colors burst forth from around her, nearly blinding him. He shielded his eyes, crying out into the void, before being swallowed up into a swirling galaxy of stars and nebulas. A place where he knew, in his heart of hearts, that he would be alone.
That he would be alone for a very long time.
Pain.
Hurt.
Everything hurt.
Jimin could feel himself fighting with it, struggling to climb to the surface of his consciousness. He was at the precipice of it. He knew he was so close to reaching that moment where he would be able to process everything. Most likely it would hit him all at once, but it was better than drowning in the darkness. So deeply submerged that there was little chance of him escaping.
There was warmth. And sound. A steady, rhythmic beat that seemed to rest along his skin. It was muffled at first, until it became clearer with each passing second.
It was a beeping sound.
His brows furrowed and a low groan escaped his throat. Rustling noises came from both sides and he finally managed to open his eyes. Everything came into focus all at once, including the bright light that nearly blinded him. Jimin squinted and lifted one arm to shield his face from the intruding brightness.
“Jimin!”
“Jimin-ah!”
“Hyung!”
As he continued to shield his face, Jimin wrestled with the familiar voices. He was in pain, but it wasn’t in the way that he could remember it. Shouldn’t his shoulder have been hurting more than it was? And he remembered drifting off somewhere. Was he sleeping? Had it all been a dream?
“Don’t go!” shouted Bree as she tried to jump and reach for him, but he was too far away.
Was this really the end?
“I love you!” Jimin yelled suddenly, causing Bree to stop her attempts to pull him back.
She blinked up at him. “J-Jimin…”
A sad smile formed on his lips. This was inevitable. There was nothing they could do to stop this. He was going back to his own time now; to his own world.
“I love you so much…”
Bree gasped, covering her mouth. But when it seemed he would pass through the ceiling, she lowered her hands and flashed the same sad smile back up to him.
“…I love you too.”
Gasping, Jimin bolted upright and clawed at the air. His eyes, wide and full of tears, burned as colors flooded his vision. “BREE!”
Hands gripped at his shoulders, attempting to push him back down onto the plush surface he was resting on. Jimin struggled against them, his shoulders jerking in either direction as he yelled and bucked his hips off the mattress. Everyone called his name, trying to get him to calm down, but this made him rage against them further. He could feel the vein bulging near his neck as his eyes strained from the pressure building up behind them.
His eyes focused on those around him; familiar faces. His friends. They were all clearly worried about him, some even a little apprehensive about his response after just waking up. But the image of Bree wouldn’t leave the forefront of his mind.
“L-Let go of me!” he shouted, lunging his upper body forward. “LET ME GO!”
A nurse swiftly pushed through his friends, pulling out a needle and injecting it into his IV. It didn’t take long for the sedative to work, Jimin’s vision growing cloudy. But he could tell it wasn’t meant to knock him out. His thundering heartbeat settled slowly and a heavy weight forced him to push his body back into the plush cushions. After the nurse whispered something to Seokjin, the others quickly surrounded him but made sure not to crowd him too much.
Jungkook sat on the edge of the bed slowly, his shoulders tense as he wrangled with what to say. “...Hyung?”
He blinked slowly as he rolled his neck to look at him. “J-Jungkook-ah?” Jimin shifted his gaze to Taehyung. “What’s going on?”
“You passed out,” Taehyung murmured, draping a hand along the back of his neck, “so we took you to the hospital.”
Jimin licked his lips as he rubbed at one of his eyes. “How long have I been out?”
“A couple of hours,” Namjoon answered, causing Jimin to jump slightly, “not too long.”
He’d only been out for a few hours? That couldn’t have been right. Years went by as he traveled through all those different places! It didn’t seem feasible that he’d only been knocked out for mere hours.
Again, he tried to sit up. This time, Hoseok helped him so he could get more comfortable. “What about that woman?” His gaze met Hoseok’s and he noted the confusion etched on his friend’s face. “What happened?”
Hoseok tilted his head slightly. “What woman?” Jimin frowned. “What are you talking about?”
“That witch-shaman-fortune teller lady!” Jimin looked between all of his friends and they looked just as puzzled as Hoseok. What was going on?! “We went to the mountains to get our fortunes read, and--”
“No,” stressed Yoongi as he folded his arms across his chest, “we were about to board the train for Gwangju and you passed out at the terminal.”
Jimin’s heart skipped, a bead of sweat forming on his temple. “W-What?” He swallowed the lump in his throat. “The train?”
Jungkook’s brows furrowed as he nodded. “Yeah. We were going to Gwangju for a few days to start off Summer Break, remember?”
Pain hummed behind Jimin’s eyes. He pressed the heel of his palm to his forehead in an attempt to settle his nerves. They hadn’t gone to the mountains. They hadn’t met that woman who cursed him, trapping him in that house and sending him into an unexpected journey. They never even left Seoul!
So, it’s really broken, he thought, his hand moving to cover his mouth while staring at the bed sheets, I’m really back.
Bree’s smiling face flashed in his mind as she held Juno in her arms. What happened to them? Were they stuck in the house in his place? Had he condemned them to his fate once his curse was lifted?
An overwhelming sense of guilt exploded across his chest, causing Jimin to cover his face with his hands as he openly sobbed into them. He felt his brothers’ comforting embraces holding him as he cried. He knew they were probably thinking that Jimin was just confused and disoriented and, in truth, he was.
But the true pain that seeped throughout his entire body was the thought of leaving Bree to suffer what was once his fate...alone.
Days bled into weeks. It was one giant blur for Jimin. After getting over his disorientation, he was able to regain some functionality in his daily life. His friends insisted they cancel their trip to Gwangju and just stay in Seoul, but Jimin said there wasn’t a need. He didn’t want to ruin their holiday because of his dysfunctionalism and he probably needed the break himself. After so many years of not working, studying, and even doing anything remotely productive during his travels, Jimin wasn’t sure if he was ready to get back into the swing of things.
After they returned from their trip, he contacted his advisors and professors to let them know he would be taking the semester off after he turned in his assignments. He was barely able to struggle through his paper and he couldn’t even remember what his term paper was initially about anymore. Sure, he’d left himself notes and even written an outline, but his head was jumbled with too many other concerns to focus on school.
His parents were extremely disappointed with his decision to withdraw from school, but Jimin couldn’t bring himself to change his mind. If it was still taking him over a month to remember what year it was, he knew he would just stress himself out in the middle of his classes. He needed a break. He needed something else to focus his attention on while also allowing himself to feel productive in the meantime. Jimin wasn’t giving up on school completely, but he knew that it just wasn’t for him right now.
He moved back to Busan to be closer to his family and to also help his grandmother with her rice cake shop. She was beyond ecstatic for the company and this allowed her time to pay more attention to her own health. Kneading dough and the smell of rice powder brought a sense of calm to Jimin’s routine. Meeting and interacting with customers, as well as doing research to help bolster sales, allowed him to momentarily forget the loneliness he felt.
But at night, everything always came back full circle. Jimin often had night terrors filled with visions of Bree blaming him for abandoning her; for leaving her behind in that perpetually never ending cycle. Jimin may have gotten used to it, but the inability to escape his prison, a prison he’d brought upon himself, was a concept he was sure would drive anyone mad.
If I left her there like that…
He could never finish the thought that followed swiftly after waking up from a nightmare. Jimin was too afraid to finish it. Because giving it a voice, even a silent one, would mean that there was a chance it would come true.
Every day and every night, Jimin thought about looking for Bree. But he honestly didn’t know where to start his search. Looking for her by name was one thing, but he couldn’t imagine how many “Brianna Larkins” would turn up. He didn’t have much money so hiring a private investigator was almost out of the question. It wasn’t like he lived in the new millennium where the internet and smartphones were regular things. This was the only thing that granted him a bit of solace, knowing he returned to only a decade after her time.
But who was to say that Bree was actually a person of the 80s? Just because her friends happened to have an 80's radio? For all he knew, they could have just been a bunch of trendy hipsters who wanted to seem eclectic by having an old-fashioned portable radio. Jimin traveled enough through the past and future to know that a person couldn’t always judge everything at face value.
What if she wasn’t even born yet?
These, and many other anxieties, haunted Jimin at almost every turn. Taehyung often visited him when he had the chance, as did the others, but nothing could chase away the panic-induced terror that threatened to suffocate him each and every single night.
His grandmother finally suggested that he see a therapist. Mental health wasn’t a strongly advocated subject at the time, but anything was better than falling into a tailspin of depression he wouldn’t be able to escape from. There were specialists in Busan, but the best psychiatrists were in Seoul. Taehyung supported his need for some kind of medical attention, even if it meant just sitting down and talking to someone unrelated to him.
Jimin set his first appointment for the following week.
He didn’t think he’d be this nervous.
After filling out all the paperwork, Jimin found himself wringing his hands together as he waited for someone to call him to the back. Taehyung and Yoongi both recommended this particular clinic because of the well-known specialists who hailed from different parts of the world and practiced medicine internationally. He wasn’t one to knock something until he tried it. Or at least that was how he felt he was now . Jimin was pretty confident his old self would never have entertained the idea of seeing a psychiatrist.
There was a first time for everything. Even this.
He fiddled with some magazines until he was called. Something to keep his hands busy. Part of him wanted to bolt out of the door and never look back. There was an old part of him that lingered in the deep recesses of his mind. About how this was just all in his head and he would just need some time to get over it.
But he’d spent years in isolation. Regardless of whether it was in his own head or not wasn’t the point. Those moments were real to him and the mind was a powerful thing. The pain he felt was real to him. The feelings he experienced were real to him.
In essence, that was all that mattered.
I can’t keep running from this, he thought as he clenched his fists together, running is what got me into trouble in the first place.
“Park Jimin-ssi?” He lifted his head to see the receptionist waving at him. “The doctor will see you now.”
Standing, Jimin moved to the door as it opened and the receptionist smiled as she held a clipboard to her chest. She gestured for him to follow behind her and they walked down a small corridor. She opened the door before he could see the name on the outside, ushering him to go inside.
“The doctor will be with you shortly,” she said, bowing her head slightly, “would you like some tea?”
Jimin bowed his head awkwardly in return. “Uh, yes, please. Thank you.”
She bowed again. “Of course. I’ll be right back. Please, make yourself comfortable.”
She closed the door gently behind her and Jimin slowly sat down on the couch in front of a large glass and metal desk. It was littered with various books, mostly fairy tales and some self-help books. Others were reference materials and even subjects alluding to science fiction. Jimin couldn’t help the smile that pulled at the corners of his mouth. It reminded him of the months he spent with Bree, studying various texts to get even a vague idea of what his circumstances entailed.
She’d been so selfless in wanting to help him. There was nothing to gain from doing so. All she wanted was for him to be able to return to his family; to his own world.
Again, the phantom ache of guilt pounded against his chest, causing Jimin to absentmindedly rub at it. He was here so he could put a voice to the remorse that ripped through him. Letting it eat away and fester inside wasn’t going to help things. There was no way to get back to Bree, but he wanted to believe that she hadn’t met the same fate.
Wanting to find something to distract his thoughts, he peered at the walls of the room and admired some of the paintings that decorated the doctor’s office. Some were simple ones - replicas of Monet’s work and some of Dali. But what gave Jimin pause was the silver-framed picture sitting on the doctor’s desk.
It was a picture of a calico cat playing around in the flowers. The letters monogrammed on the lower half of the frame had Jimin’s jaw dropping.
JUNO
Suddenly, the door opened and Jimin jumped to his feet. His eyes focused on the person now in the room, but their back was to him. Her attire was simple, comfortable, but she still carried an air of professionalism. Her thick auburn curls were pulled into a low ponytail and silver hoops dangled from her ears. The door latch catching sounded like muffled cannon fire in his ears.
“Sorry for the wait, Mr. Jimin Park,” she said, her voice laced with amusement; a voice he could never forget, “I like your name. I’m Doctor Brianna Larkins.” She turned around, a smile still on her face, but it fell instantly when her eyes locked with his.
Jimin could hardly believe what he was seeing. Even the loud clatter of her clipboard hitting the ground wasn’t enough to rattle his thoughts. Bree continued to stand by the door as Jimin remained where he was near the couch.
For a while, neither of them moved. Jimin was too scared. He was afraid of what would happen the very moment he took a step forward. Would everything fizzle into smoke before his eyes? Would he lose her again?
And just like the last time, Bree was the one to speak first.
“J-Jimin…”
Her eyes were full of unshed tears and Jimin’s own vision began to wobble. “B-Bree?”
He watched her tears fall and he felt like the universe was being created at that moment, her smile so radiant that he couldn’t believe that he was the reason for it. Not even for a second.
Jimin soaked in her presence. She was older now. Of course she was. Even though he was the older one when they’d first met, it was clear that time hadn’t frozen for her. She was there with him, in his own time. Bree wasn’t trapped in his prison, made to suffer for his own transgressions.
He didn’t care about the why or the how. Jimin only cared that she was there with him and not traveling through space and time alone. She was free. They were free.
Rushing forward, Jimin closed the distance between them. His chest slammed up against hers and he wrapped his arms around her, crushing her to him. They both let out a sob at the same time and he could feel her fingers digging into the meat of his shoulder blades. Their bodies shook from the emotions overwhelming them until their legs could no longer hold them up. Sinking to the floor, Jimin cradled the back of her head in his hand as they cried their hearts out in each other’s arms.
“27. And you?”
“32.” She laughed while shaking her head. “Goddamn, I’m old.”
“You’re not old.” He brushed a stray curl back and tucked it behind her ear. “You still look the same, even now.”
Bree rolled her eyes. “Whatever, you’re crazy.” She was still smiling.
Jimin squeezed her hand as they sat on the couch together. He was too afraid of letting her hand go, worried that she might disappear when he did. She must have felt the same, because she didn’t try to pull away from him. Not even once.
After they’d calmed down a bit, Bree suggested that they at least look like they were having a session. The last thing she wanted was for the receptionist to come in and see them both hysterical messes on the floor. When she collected the clipboard and placed it on her desk, the receptionist brought Jimin his tea and swiftly left the room.
He cupped her cheek with his palm, turning her face toward him. It was true. To him, she hadn’t aged a single bit. She still had the same healthy brown tint to her skin, her former dark curls were dyed a deep shade of red that he liked, and her eyes held a hint of the hazel glow he remembered. Her cheeks were tinted a soft pink, probably because he was staring so intently at her but he couldn’t help himself. Jimin pinched his forearm to make sure he wasn’t actually dreaming and Bree smacked his hand, forcing him to pout.
“Hey!”
She frowned. “Stop that. You’re going to give yourself bruises.”
He huffed. “It doesn’t matter.” Jimin twirled his fingers through the lower half of her curls. “...I still can’t believe it.”
“Neither can I,” Bree whispered, wrapping her fingers around his wrist, “I was beginning to think I’d dreamed the whole thing.”
“I don’t blame you.” Jimin’s brows furrowed as he leaned in a little closer. “For me, it’s only been a few months. But for you, it’s been years.”
She lifted her eyes to meet his. “Fourteen, to be exact.”
Jimin pressed his forehead against hers, cradling her face in his hands as he closed his eyes. “God, I am so sorry, Bree…”
Bree lightly patted his cheek, pulling back a bit to look at him. “Sorry for what? In what way was any of that your fault?” She shook her head before flashing him a reassuring smile. “I’m just glad that you were able to get back to your own time.”
He nodded in agreement, albeit reluctantly. “So, why psychiatry?’
“Truthfully? I did it for myself. After everything that happened, I was a little worried I’d gone mental or something.” Bree laughed, as if she’d just flubbed up the colors in a coloring book. “But as time went on, I wanted to believe that I’d see you again. And if you were half as messed up as I was, then you were going to need someone to help you through it.”
It felt like a lead weight collapsed into his stomach. Even after everything, she was still looking out for him. Bree hadn’t given up on the idea that they would reunite. Whatever her dreams and goals were prior to their meeting, she shifted gears and changed her life, hoping that chance would bring them just a little bit closer.
Jimin laughed, covering his face with his hand. “You don’t know the half of it,” he said, his shoulders trembling, “it’s been absolute hell trying to readjust.” He lowered his hand and looked at her. “Though, I guess a good portion of my nightmares will stop now that I’ve seen you again.”
Bree nodded, brushing some of the fringe from his forehead. “The other half will just take some time.” She grinned cheekily at him. “And now that I’m a licensed professional, you’re guaranteed to get better.”
Rolling his eyes, he pulled Bree a little closer until their noses were barely touching. “I can’t wait for you to tell me everything that’s happened. Fourteen years is a long time.”
“It is. And Juno is going to give you a stern talking to.”
He raised his brows. “I can’t believe she’s still around.”
Bree shrugged. “She’s stubborn. That and I think it took some time for her body to get back in sync with the whole aging process.” She smirked. “That’s just my best educated guess though. I’m no scientist.”
Leaning forward, Jimin gently pressed an open-mouthed kiss to her full lips. He heard her gasp, felt her taking in a sharp breath, and then moved his mouth to brush over her cheeks and nose. Her hand grasped for his wrist, giving it a gentle squeeze. He paused at her forehead, his lips barely touching her skin there. Even after all this time, she still smelled the same. Her lips tasted the same.
Like cherries.
“I missed you,” Jimin whispered, his voice shaking a measure, “I missed you so much.”
“Me too.” She leaned her head back to peer at his face, his vision of her blurring slightly from the tears collecting in his eyes. “I missed you too, Jimin.”
“I live in Busan now.” His smile fell a bit. “But...but I can come to Seoul any time.”
She grinned. “And I’m a therapist, Jimin. I can move my practice anywhere.”
Jimin sighed, shaking his head but his smile returned. “I run a rice cake shop with my grandmother. I kinda like it. I think you might like it too.”
“I can’t wait to see it.”
Taking a breath, Jimin sealed his lips over hers and pressed his body across her own. She fell back against the couch and he wrapped one arm around her waist, practically pulling her into his lap. Her hands fell along his shoulders as he took every single moment given to him to nip, pull, and lavish his affections on her lips. They would be swollen from his attention, but he didn’t care. No matter how many years would pass by after that moment, he would never get tired of the taste of her mouth; of cherry lip balm.
Breaking the kiss, he quickly wiped at the tears on Bree’s face. She laughed, using the sleeve of her coat to do the same for him. He gave her little pecks to the mouth before pulling her into his arms once more - the steady cadence of her beating heart matching his own.
Craning his neck, he buried his face into her hair as she held him just as tightly against her. “...now that we have the time.”
Time that would never be taken advantage of ever again.

gumdopfairy matchup request~
Hello! May I request a matchup? Sorry if it is too long. ><
Synopsis: I come off as distant and awkward. I don’t talk much and if I do, I am agreeable and soft-spoken. I would say I am sensitive, transparent, emotional, understanding, curious, carefree, and clumsy. I am expressive and am not afraid to show my feelings, people would say I am an open book. I always cry at sad movies or scenes where you’re supposed to cry. I have 4 siblings and it’s fun but tiring at the same time, I’m the butt of every joke and am treated like the youngest. I also like to tease those I am very close with. I am expressive and (sometimes childish) with those I am very close to and agreeable with the general public. In a group work setting, I am diligent and reasonable when doing my job.
Habits/Interests/Dreams: I say ‘what the heck’ a lot, it’s a habit tbh. I rant when I am passionate. A dream of mine is to enjoy life with people I love, to travel, capture beautiful scenery and eat lots of sweets! I like learning about international cultures, languages and funky things like did you know smelling your own fart prevents Alzhimer’s disease because of hydrogen sulfide and egg-smells? LOL.
Travel, psychology, and society-related documentaries interests me. I am currently a (elementary) A2 level Korean, I want to study more of the language because I like Korean music and culture. The concept of time travel, multitudes of reality and isekai worlds intrigue and fascinate me, I like reading fictional stuff about it. I have good knowledge of geography. My siblings always tease me when the number 13 shows because…..I want to always avoid the number and really hate that number. I used to do judo in high school and I have a fascination with martial arts. :D
Likes/Dislikes: I like pastels, sunsets, flowers, photography, sweets, fried foods, skincare, sparkly stuff, lip gloss, memes, dad jokes and games.
I dislike it when people assume things about me like they know me (when they really don’t), condescending people, ignorance, waking up early and seafood. I like my freedom and want to be independent, and dislike it immensely being forced to do something I don’t want to do. I really don’t like listening to lectures (doesn’t everyone though?). I’m not academically inclined but I have decent grades. I really don’t like math and chemistry T_T
In depth: I am pretty sensitive when people criticize or judge me only if it’s constructive but if it is outright just to insult me than I will say something bc that upsets the heck outta me. Because I have such a big immediate family (there’s 7 of us) I am family-oriented so playing Obey Me really reminds me a lot of my family(esp siblings I have 4). In fact, I do get irritated easily and I am working on my short-temper. I am understanding and always try my best to not look at things just in my perspective but others as well. I am pessimistic in nature but I do genuinely want to see the good in people and in life. When thinking about my feelings and knowing the why I feel the way I do and how it affects others, you could say there is emotional intelligence. :)
My insecurity without a doubt is caring too much on what people think of me and how content I am with myself. I think this is because of me, my past “friends” who judged me so critically which had a negative effect on how I see myself. Because of that, I have very few friends. In fact, I don’t really have any. I kind of just lost my self of self and trust for people. And my insecurity with of how unrefined, incompetent or unlikable I am, I’ve been told a lot to “grow up” and “stop asking dumb questions.”
I want to be loved and not to be judged so harshly. Since I am slowly becoming an adult I have to discard my awkward, playful tendencies in front of others. Even though I have low self-esteem it bothers me when being told that I did something or said something, it discredits my character and what gives one the right to tell me what I did or said when I know myself more than them?
Relationships: I honestly never had a boyfriend or any real close, close friends but I have a very close sibling who I grew up since I was an infant and it’s my younger sister (only by 16 months). She is truly my best friend and sister. I tend to like who are confident but also cool, they’re not domineering. I also find myself liking those who are opposite from me. The airheadness in me juxtaposed with my partner’s grounded nature. I’m pretty reckless and clumsy myself so it’d make sense if someone is reasonable and well-coordinated which would balance us out. My pessimism balanced with his optimism and/or realism.
I can offer my close companionship, humor, someone to listen to your troubles/ranting, and someone you can have ramen with and have conversations about anything without having restraint. Someone who I can be free with. Someone who can accept my flaws and who can help me improve myself and I would do the same for them.
We can laugh together, spend time with each other, make each other cry, fight and be there for each other when we are feeling low. A best friend and a partner for life, someone who would not harshly constrain, judge or tear me down as an individual. Wow, I am crying writing this. I am so idealistic about what I want in my relationships mainly because I never had one but deep down, I don’t think it’s like that in real life.
Hobbies: otome games, learning Korean, pilates/ workout videos, eating, and bothering my siblings
My Fangirl self: I am a big fan of Avatar:The Last Airbender and One Punch Man (Genos is husbando material lol). I also really like Free and Haikyuu. Hot 2D men, babies, and puppies are my weaknesses. I read a lot of romance, isekai, and action webtoons/mangas and like watching it too.
Appearance wise, I’m 163 cm, and Asian so I have medium standard straight dark hair and I’m slim.
---------
Hey! Thank you for your request! Sorry for the wait!
It was pretty hard to decide who would be the best partner for you. I thought about Beelzebub or Leviathan. Because Levi is into animes, mangas and Asian culture, but Beel loves food and his siblings especially Belphie. Hope you like my decision, because I decided to choose Beelzebub!
Here is why:
I think it’s ideal for Beel to have a quite clumsy girl with him. I can imagine when you, for example, fall down on the stairs and he catch you! He would protect and take care of you. He would be right there for you when you can’t reach something!
He may look serious and mean, but actually he isn’t!
When you watch a sad movie or when someone judges you, he would try his best to make you feel happy again. Make you some food or maybe cuddle with you!
You mentioned that you are an open book which would make Beel understand you even more. Being transparent is very important if you want a healthy relationship!
He is very close to his brothers. He would do anything for them. His best friend is Belphegor, and I think it’s good because your best friend is your sibling too. Imagine all of you hanging out like a super big family!! I think Beel can get along with pretty much anyone.
Beel is very positive and rewarding so it would be ideal for you as there would be a balance.
Both of you loves to eat, it would be a great date to go eat something, or make food together. I’m sure he will share his food with you! (Especially if you share your food with him too) Trust me he knows the best places to get food from! Also when you travel, he is going to encourage you to try food you maybe wouldn’t otherwise!
He would think your “what the heck” habit is cute though. Imagine him smiling so cutely to hmself every time you say it! If you two hang out a lot he might start saying it a lot too!
Beel would love to hear your voice so talk to him about everything! You can trust him! He is not too talkative himself, so your tendencies to rant gives a good balance!
Moreover he would support you in everything! He is one of the most supporting brothers!
Also don’t worry. He has 6 siblings, it’s much worse than 4, he knows what you mean when you say you are tired!
Beelzebub would join you to watch differents shows or animes, but make sure there’s food!
I’m sure you would enjoy the time that you spend together! He can be very adorable and careful. Maybe he would invite you to the gym or hiking (or maybe to do judo), but reward you with a kiss for example.
He would make your day better for example with a romantic dinner or to just go out and watch the sunset with a picnic even if it’s the day you don’t like, so he tries to get your mind off it.
Leviathan would join you if you want to play games or listen to kpop. Of course while this make sure you give food to Beel to make him less jealous. But he is not the most jealous type, so really there’s not much to worry about.
Furthermore, if you don’t want to wake up early, he would stay in bed with you and cuddle. But sometimes Belphegor would be a better partner for this and he would treat you as his sister.
He would hold your hand until he falls asleep. Think about that!
Chemistry and Math is definitely not Beel’s favourite ones as well. You better get help from Lucifer or Satan! But Beel won’t judge you based on your grades!
He would laugh at your jokes, and try to make you laugh too!
He wouldn’t judge you and say mean things to you because he would really value you and you would mean the world for him beside food.
He needs emotional support though.(SPOILER depending on where you are in the story) Sometimes he blame himself for some mistakes. Thats why it’s nice that you are emotionally mature, he definitely needs someone he can rely on emotionally as well.
Also he will make sure that you don’t think about what others think of you! He loves you the way you are!
He is the youngest, so you can be childish together!
He is pretty flexible and confident, so no turn-offs so far!
He is the tallest one so I think you would look super cute next to him (he is like 205 cm lmao)
I think he is really patient and actually encouraging so hanging out with him will definitely boost your confidence!
I think in canon he never really had any relationship before either, so it would be amazing to learn about relationships together!
I think theres no thing like “thats not how it is in real life”, you just have to keep looking. Fortunately Beel has similar values as you, as he can be shy and that makes opening up to someone hard - meaning the friendship can last some time before you establish a relationship. A healthy relationship is based on being best friends with your partner, so I think you are on the same page.
Maybe sometimes you and Belphie would team up to prank him, what do you think?
He definitely adores that you care for yourself and that you are stylish! Asmo probably knows more about these than Beel, but thanks to Asmo’s influence Beel will suprise you with how much cosmetics he can name!
So in conclusion he is a very supportive boyfriend, and you are also supporting him through the journey of healing from the past. A very cute relationship and you two can do anything together. He can get you do some sports and you can get him to watch some shows on rainy days. However food is something you both enjoy a lot, so restaurant or cooking dates are common! Even if you travel. Knowing that you can trust the other no matter what will boost the confidence of the both of you! He can be less talkative but that’s fine because you can talk! He is also rather optimistic, so there is a balance in that as well. Sometimes he might get jealous of Levi or Belphie if you hang out with them too much, but thats just something to have a conversation about. He is cool and rather chill, definitely gets along well with your family too, which is very important because both of you are family-oriented!

Chapter 1: Shame on You
Lucifer’s Pov
As I passed by the mirror of the bathroom, I was slightly taken by surprise by my sight.
When did I get so weak?
My clothes were in shambles, I couldn’t tell whose blood was whose. My skin was filthy, riddled with marks and scruffs. Thankfully my demon powers started healing my wounds, though my energy still felt depleted.
I wonder how she must be feeling? The thought occurred to me.
Walking to the doorway, peeking to the unconscienced beauty on the sofa. Her eyes closed; fear swelled inside me; hoping they would open soon.
Such a fragile life, even in my own anger I had nearly done the unthinkable to her. My mind was racing with so many questions, neither mind nor heart aligned.
Is that why I feel the way I do towards Y/N? Is it guilt that compels me to care? Does this have to do with mother or Lilith, or is this guilt for my brother?
Mammon… I scold myself for being so reckless; shame on you.
I should have known he would go to her, even when told not to. When does he ever listen to warnings or advice? A fleeting smile creeps on my face as I think about it, gone far to soon as my thoughts wonder.
I got careless, oh perhaps I didn’t care enough.
So many feelings and emotions stirring, things I thought I’d lost long ago.
I have fallen so far from grace, and feel as though I continue to fall.
Shame on you.
.
.
Inside the House of Lamentation
Lucifer stormed out of the hall with Y/N, the remaining five brothers and Solomon; silent as the grave. Each of them seeming to be thinking the same things.
‘Mammon the Idiot.’
The house was quiet without his noise, far too quiet.
Lucifer asked that they believed in Huedhaut but, they had already been let down by him; twice. How could they believe in him now after so long…?
…
Beel breaks the silence “Do you think it’s worth praying for him?” Looking to Belphie
Solomon replies before anyone else is able too, “Can you?”
They all look at him dumbfoundedly.
“What do you mean, Solomon?” Asmo asks
“Well, I can’t say I’ve ever known demons to pray, and to whom?”
A genuine question, which none of them, had any idea where to start.
…
Solomon suggests something, “Why don’t you pray directly to him then?”
.
.
Demon’s Lord Castle
Huedhaut’s Pov
I truly did not believe Kivy, my king, my old friend, would save Mammon.
I turned to the young prince of the underworld, betting on the chance he may. Mammon wasn’t gone yet; I could feel his soul still intact. I however, did not possess the power it required to heal him completely.
I proposed to Diavolo, in exchange for his help, I would grant him one wish.
Whatever that may be.
Kivy will surely want my head, but I already owed these boys so much. I was willing to do anything at this point; I know Fate would agree with me. Seeking balance for all that I didn’t do, or maybe I’m searching to be punished further?
.
“Lord Huedhaut, in aiding you with this and granting me said wish… Will you not fall from grace?” The young prince asks me. His pitch hiked slightly, and dipped deep again; uneasy.
Whether he was genuinely concerned or merely probing my emotions was futile.
“I cannot say for certain but, I will be tried in court. That is definite.”
I couldn’t bring myself to look away from Mammon, one blink and he could truly be gone. Shame on you Huedhaut; I could practically hear Fate cursing me for failing our children.
“Then who’s to say that I, Prince; will not be tried too? For interfering in such affairs”
A reasonable counter, I thought. His last words nearly had me laughing out loud though, playing the innocence card?
“You weren’t punished for your last ‘interference’, why should this be any different?” I challenged him, what more did I have chance of losing?
“It was I that came to you, it was I and I alone that proposed this deal. So, it will be me, Huedhaut; who will face whatever may.”
I looked to Diavolo, and meant every word, then turned my sight back to Mammon.
.
They stood together against Kivy when Lilith broke the law. I once again took the kings side over my family… Not this time, not anymore.
Third times a charm? Isn’t that what the mortals say.
.
.
Heaven
Simeon and Luke were just informed of the recent events, all of heaven in an uproar.
“What should be do Simeon?”
“Honestly I don’t kno-”
Simeon stopped talking mid-sentence, a faint chant filling his ears.
Luke’s head shot back and forth, barking out “Can you hear that? Those voices?”
Simeon stood still and closed his eyes, listening further. A smile spreads across his face.
“They’re praying.”
.
Zyglavis was reporting to Kivy when sounds start to fill the throne room. Zyglavis was unable to finish his report, he closed his eyes and surrendered to the voices.
The King too is amused “seems even black sheep are in need of guidance” his laugh drowns out all other noises.
He would allow this once; their voices to be received to the recipient.

The House of Gods
Partheno slips in, he knew there was going to be questions to his disappearance. Weirdly though no one was bombarding him, it felt suspicious.
He enters the common room “Urg, you would not believe the day I have had?!”
No one takes any notice of him; they all seem to be listening to something.
“Gents? Am I being ignored?” He pretends to pout. “I know I shouldn’t have skipped out on”
Scorpio scowls at him “SHHH, listen!”
They all fall silent again, prayers can be heard in almost a whisper.
Teorus points out, “Those voices, can it be?”
“You know, I feel sorta sad for them…” Aigonorus barely squeaks out.
Ichthys and Dui nod their heads in agreement.

The Human Realm
*SNAP*
*SNAP*
*SNAP*
Karno and Leon were feeling the toll, dealing with the aftermath and erasing memories. Took a lot out of them, luckily though the news cameras were not live filming. Fiddling with mortal minds was a breeze, fiddling with a dozen mortal minds in a polluted realm was another. Luckily, they only had to deal with a relevantly small community, between the two of them they divided the work.
Leon was feeling a bit annoyed no one else came to aid them, not that he needed help.
“Chief, that’s the last of them.” Karno walks up to him, whose sprawled out on a bench. His head hanging over the back, arms draped over the back support of it.
“I hate the human realm; I feel disgusting.”
Karno laughs featherily, “Well to be fair, you are covered head to toe in filth.”
Leon shoots him a dirty glare, stands up and begins walking away. “Well if were done here, let’s leave to Devildom immediately. The sooner we finish the sooner I can have a drink”
“Leon, we should head back to The King and report before doing so.”
“No, we are not going back until we have the girl. She’s in danger Karno, more importantly look what she has done here. Whether it was intentional or not, she can not be allowed the freedom to roam. Let alone the fact now those demons see what she can do, how do you think they’ll manipulate her” He turns and notices the look on Karno’s face. “Is there something you’re not telling me, my vice minister?
He looks down, guilt written all over his face. Nodding “Yes, which is why we must report to the King.”
Leon pauses, Karno was not one to lie to him. Which led him to believe that whatever it was, the king’s opinion was indeed needed as much as he disliked admitting it. “Very well, but then I WILL be going to Devildom, even if I have to go alone.”

Devildom
“It’s rather simply, Barbatos will place me in another time line. I will swap the Mammon here, with the Mammon there.” Huedhaut outline’s his plan.
“I see where you are going with this. However, in doing so, we will cause a ripple affect within all other time lines. Mammon’s fate has already been sealed.” Barbatos points out.
“You’ve done something rather similar before no, and look how well that faired out.” Hue was done with their petty mind games.
He did not like people taking him for a fool.
Barbatos face was slapped with truth and shock. Diavolo squinted his eyes to the god, it seems the heavens were well informed on what has been going on within his kingdom.
“So, let’s just get straight to it. I have seen how this will play out, and what exactly is needed to be done in order to do so. I will do it; I need to get back to the day Mammon snuck out of school. That is when I will swap and set everything up.”
Diavolo doesn’t quite understand what Huedhaut intends to do “Set everything up?”
“Yes, someone was following them that day; Crow. I will use that given opportunity as an assassination on Mammon. There for, feeding fuel to the fire, the others will believe Mammon was killed by the disciple even in that time line. I can use my powers, not be seen or detected, and bring Mammon safely back here. However, I will need you though Diavolo, as prince you are relevant in all the timelines. You must keep the secret of the truth to yourself in that alternative time line, I will come to you there and explain in further detail.” Giving Barbatos the side eye.
Diavolo realises then, Huedhaut was indeed a god not to be toyed with. He wasn’t just known for being wise, but being dangerously clever. It started to make sense, the similarities he saw in Lucifer, the siblings and him. The past started to piece itself together “Very well then, you have my word.”
“I need your permission, grant me power to carry out my task.”
Diavolo’s eyebrow raises suspiciously, “I; Diavolo, first of my name, prince of the underworld. Grant you, Huedhaut; the power to carry out your quest, under the regulations and laws that guard my people.”
No sooner after those words left his mouth, Huedhaut glowed. It momentarily blinded both him and Barbatos, as the light faded and Huedhaut could be seen again. He was no longer in uniform; he was in god form.
It was stupendous, he wore holy attire, set on his forehead a golden diadem. Dark blue clothes draped on his sleek and lean figure. Around his neck was a two overlaid gold necklace that sat tidily on his collarbone, dangling from gold links were 3 inched; sapphire gems that sparkled like crystal blue stars. The necklace matched the diadem on his head and the sandals upon his feet. His right arm covered with more deep blue cloth and silver in stitched patterns down the sleeve, which resembled waves. His left arm was mostly bare but two gold accessories; a gold armlet that fit snug around his perfect bicep, another sapphire rock can be seen on it. Around his wrist was a gold bracelet with more pebble size gems, his bottom half was a long skirt, matching the colours above. His upper body was slightly revealed, show casing his glowing skin. Around his waist, a gold and blue sash with patterns that came together and dangled to the right side. The very sight of him screamed divinity and grace from head to toe.
Diavolo was much to busy spectating every inch of Hue, to hear a word the he was saying.
Huedhaut inhaled deeply, “That feels much better, my regards Diavolo.” In an almost sinister voice “Well then Master Barbatos, shall we be off?”

Mammon’s POV
Y/N pointed to me; I didn’t have enough time to turn. The pain that shot into me then my body felt so cold with each spasm around the entry point. It all happened so fast, I think I was stabbed.
I didn’t cry, Me? The great Mammon, never cries…
Okay…fine.
Hell, I cried a little, the hurt was one thing, but the look on her face was the kicker. It sent my mind and heart into torture, while I felt discomfort physically. My body betrayed me and I fell to the ground hard, my mind was the only thing I felt I had a smidge bit of control over.
Soon her face came into view from above, she looked afraid.
Did something else happen, or is that look for me… Am I dying?
She whispered so softly to me, and for a moment I wished we stayed like this forever. Her arms were so warm, I knew she was pretty... But being so close I really seen how pretty she was. Her voice was heavenly, comforting me as I felt myself slipping into panic. I don’t want to die, I tried focusing on all her heavenly features.
.
“H-hey b-buddy?”
.
She stuttered, how cute! If it wasn’t for how cold I felt I bet my face would be burning right now. I feel so sleepy, these damn tears just won’t stop. Nothing is agreeing to obey me.
.
“Y-you’re going to be o-okay, y-you have too! You’re the GREAT M-Mammon after all!”
.
Damn right I am, thank you for confirming that! I wish I could laugh and make you smile. I really don’t like seeing her like this, lip quivering; she’s starting to cry.
It’s getting harder to breathe now... I notice lights flying above our heads, but I can’t really hear much, nor can I speak. This is annoying... Her voice breaks me from drifting off.
She claims she’s going to save me; she doesn’t look very confident though. Hey! HEY LOOK AT ME! WHO ARE YOU LOOKING AT OTHER THEN THE GREAT MAMMON!?
I muster all the strength I can and barely touch her chin. Her face glistening with tears, with the last of everything I got I try to tell her the truth…
‘You Already Have, Thank You!’ I tried to scream to her face, and smiled. She’s such a worry wort, I’m so glad we became friends; you really are the best.
Then darkness, everything got really quiet.
“Y/N?! Whoa hey my voice is back!”
Not that it mattered, I couldn’t see anything or anyone. I also have feeling again in my body, I give myself a little shake to confirm.
“Nice! Hmm, I wonder where everyone went?” I started wondering around in the dark.
…
…
I don’t know how long I have been wondering, there’s literally nothing. Even my own hands are shadowed over, what a pain in the ass. Suddenly I hear voices, but I have no idea where they’re coming from.
“I pray for you brother, please forgive me for all the times I called you scum!”
That’s Levi’s voice, but where the hell is he?! It’s maddening, running in one direction I believe his voice is coming from. Only I start hearing, Satan, Asmo, Beel and Belphie too. Surrounding me in this abyss of darkness.
“You and Lilith take good care of each other on the other side, will see you both someday”
What Beel says stops me in my tracks… What does he mean, other side? Holy shit, I’m fucken dead!?!
Another voice joins in… His voice…
Yes, my son, you are…
